Not to mention the harem both Kirito ang Sung Jinwoo has as they get stronger. The shadow army also reminded me of Geko Moria's resurrected zombies in One Piece Thriller Bark arc. But I think the most obvious reference was HunterxHunter chimera art arc, I think anyone who've watched HxH and read this would agree.. evolved/mutated ants? Powerful ant boss? Raid on the ant colony? Excuse me Beru by any chance are you Meruem's reincarnation?
