I started reading this few days ago and I'm reminded by a lot of anime references. The first one when they faced gigantic statues at a double dungeon. Dude! The biggest statue that shoots laser-like beams looked like the titan who ate Eren's mon on attack on titan!! They both have creepy smiles @_@ like I hate!
Then there's sword art online. Both has 100 level multi-dimensional place where they clear each level and face bosses at the end. Not to mention the harem both Kirito ang Sung Jinwoo has as they get stronger. The shadow army also reminded me of Geko Moria's resurrected zombies in One Piece Thriller Bark arc. But I think the most obvious reference was HunterxHunter chimera art arc, I think anyone who've watched HxH and read this would agree.. evolved/mutated ants? Powerful ant boss?
