I think it's interesting how their love is developing, they have already showed their ugly sides to one another, all their emotions and thoughts of one another are pretty transparent the moment the MC admits her conflicting love for him it'll all be out in the open. But I love the MC doesn't take the Emperor's change for granted and still holds her guard up.
Idk of I already said this but I really don't like the sister, if she is just naive and is scared of love, I just don't like her but the fact that they showed that she must have also gone back with her memories intact makes me almost hate her, considering she hid behind the MC and let her go into the Palace just like that when she knew what awaited her and yet they show the sister as some protector when she hasn't done anything for the MC, the MC cherishes her because she feels she protected her innocent sister but in a way the MC was forsaken by her. I hope they cut down the sister's story and we get more development on the Emperor and MC
hi!! in the raws they explain in the next chapter that petronilla only recovered the memories of their past lives after Patrizia was already married to him, remember the very first chapters where she happens to see the emperor and Rosamond together and then faints? she recovered them after she woke up, hope it helps clarifying it :)

I love the throwback panels, the artist did SO well in physically developing Aria's and Asher, they look mature now but they didn't lose they characteristic features one bit so it felt nostalgic seeing them as young teens again
And that last panel was so nice!!!
The fact that she can be confident and stand up for herself just on her achievements alone and Asher's support is just a bonus buffer makes me appreciate her growth much more

In the other ver. They had already explain who the prince was and his role even if it was short, the MC also wasn't always acting like a weak willed maiden, she was fearful yes because she was set to die and killed her dad but she didn't act dumb. Also the other ver had a better and slightly faster pace, at this point they were already attending the ball and we had been introduced to other important supporting characters as well as the plot of the novel she was in.
Man it feels like a waste. Especially the ML and Dad I can't get over their downgrade （/TДT)/
Downgraded? U should be grateful that someone picked this up. If u don't like the are then go read the novel. The artist spends almost 30 hours or more a day making art so people can enjoy it, I get that this is your opinion but to say that it is downgraded is rude. If u don't like the story then draw it yourself I'm sure it's super easy right? Since u have time to judge others' work, use that time to draw and shade the novel and post it. Maybe then yours wouldnt be so “downgraded”

"Downgraded" for the lack of a better term but essentially even if the quality is there imho it doesn't match the manhua, it feels more like the artist/team tried to be a little too different from the previous one , I mean it's fine in away since the author prob agreed, it's being published after all. I also understand them trying to shift things around to not be an exact copy of the prev. Ver, but the fact is that they changed not only appearances but the initial plot development, character personalities, interactions and other developments and it's kind of a pity because these are the introductory chapters to the plot of the novel the MC is in, the plot of this manhua, and introduction to the characters.
As a stand alone it feels like the typical rushed manhua and when compared to the previous ver it has a less solid background/foundation. For those that have read the previous ver and the raws it's hard not to compare. I might not have much right to say since I'm reading this free and not supporting it in allowed platforms but I can still comment my opinion, whether u agree or not is also up to you, it might have seemed like I was putting down the artist themselves but I'm simply expressing my disappointment as a reader and I know that the artist isn't the only one taking part in the creation of the series.
ALSO if you know where I can read the novel I'd appreciate it since I looked for it for weeks after the raws was dissappeared ╥﹏╥
