When I first read this, I was halfway done with chapter 1 before realizing this is a spin off of a manga that I (unpopular opinion) truly despised, Okane ga nai. Because of that I nearly didn't give it the proper chance deserved BUT I actually loved this spin off. I would go as far as to say this is 1000x better than its parent series. There's mutual respect, consent, and the themes of self acceptance was done well for this to be as old as it is. I was pleasantly surprised by this one and have re-read it multiple times since.
