Guys maybe let's not hate the brother too much? yeah i know he hurt the mc and everything which i too think was wrong and him not helping him when he asked for help but let's also put in mind what mc biological family experience when they thought that that baby mc died in the fire but actually didn't if we go back to that chapter you can see that mc's biological brother was traumatized of what happened to his bby brother and blamed himself then their parents adopted another child and because of that the mc's mindset was probably to put his attention and pemper the adoptive brother because it's something he didn't get to do to mc bcz as we know they thought mc was the baby who died to the fire, we can't also blame them bcz the body that was found was barely recognizable anymore so yeah! let's just hope that the brother repent for what he did and fix their relationship as the story progresses.

this is such a bad take bc in the novel susu himself said that lu mingfeng is not a good brother, for him and lu mingchen.
their relationship got a TINY TINY bit better in the end but he still never fully accepted him as his brother even tho he's warmed up to his biological parents.
Nah there was a line in the novel where mc asked if he had been just a regular person and not his lost little brother would the big bro still think he deserve those beatings and humiliation and brother said yes
He is so out of touch and only apologized because their brothers and not because he think what he did was wrong

You also forgot the scenes where he already had bias against mc without even speaking to him and then belittling him in front of his face before mc was fighting with the fake brother. He was already a bad person even before it came to that crap
