I don't remember the beginning of the story but what I remember is it is a bl and the characters are already a couple. They loved eachother and they have been a couple since a long time so now they feel they are losing interest in eachother. One day they are in a car and there going somewhere. The character in passenger seat feels the driver seat person is not interested in him anymore
,So he throws his ring outside the window the ml stops the car shouts at him saying "why did you throw the ring" and he searches for the ring in the road.

Then he remembers he forgot his tie in the room so he goes back. He opens the door then sees mc kneeling with ml's tie on his hand and crying.

All of his affairs was just "friend with benefits" kind of relationship. Maybe when he saw mc crying he felt truly loved and ig he didn't want to hurt mc anyone. ML later found out that MC was actually not okay with not dating and it was actually hurting MC.
