I have a theory that Jin and Sahara are two parts of the same person/being.
I mean, Jin means Dragon, Sahara probably as in the desert, and if I'm not mistaken, Suu is the japanese onomatopoeia for rain falling. Besides that, Jin and Sahara look REALLY similar, both are really into Suu, and I think that was Jin in that flashback saying that Rahan will never see a drop of rain, which is something that Sahara says all the time. Plus their polarizing powers, Jin = healing, Sahara = poisoning, and the fact that Sahara says he'll die if he calls down the rain. I kinda think Sahara is like, Jin's manifestation of his anger.
Just a theory.
unpopular opinion; I got very very very bored. Read the first 15 chapters, skipped the next 15, read one chapter, skipped to chapter 51 and quite literally missed almost nothing.
I much prefer Til Our Lips Touch over this one. The art is great and all but it's... surprisingly boring even considering all the action scenes.
Guess I'm the only one a little weirded out by the VP. I mean he seems a nice enough guy and I'm hoping we don't get another creepy old man trope, but at the same time I really don't think Eunwoo is who he needs. It feels too fatherly on Eunwoo's part.
Honestly I like the two mains together. I know their relationship isn't healthy currently, but Taeho isn't an asshole. I think he cares really deeply for Eunwoo. If he didn't he wouldn't care as much if he were to die. I think a lot of his dating around and the things he says is rooted in him trying to stop himself from falling for Eunwoo by re-directing his feelings at other things. That's why he's so focused on breaking the curse.
Taeho says he "can't" love Eunwoo and that's true. If he does he puts Eunwoo's life at risk because he knows Eunwoo likes him. It's a really dangerous and kinda stupid game he's playing but I think it makes sense given the context of the story. Can't say I wouldn't try the same thing in his shoes tbh.
Unpopular opinion I guess. Really liking the story so far though. (=・ω・=)
I agree with you. Honestly I can't tell if Taeho is a making himself unlikable on purpose bc he knows Eunwoo likes him, or if it's a defense to keep himself from falling in love, or if he's just a fuckboi. The bottom line is that he wants to keep Eunwoo alive for a deeper reason than just that their fates are tied.
My theory is that it's a subconscious defense mechanism on his part. In the end, they are playing a game where one or the other is eventually going to die unless the curse is lifted.
I really don't understand why everyone's hating the seme right now. Yes his intentions in the beginning weren't pure, the seme has also been through some shit. They've BOTH been through serious emotional pain that made them want to die. They have matching scars on their wrists, even.
Yeah he screwed up, but he's not malicious. If anything he's clumsy and a little misguided. I think his intentions are actually good even if his methods aren't the best.
Great job on the translation!
But I gotta say... I didn't enjoy this much. The whole thing could have easily been condensed into maybe... 25 chapters and it would have flowed a lot better. As it was it kinda felt like what little plot there was was an after thought.
Art was stunning, 10/10, but the story was a mere shadow of what could have been. It's not bad, it's just not something I'd ever read again because it's sooooo long with such a small payoff at the end.
I can't root for either romantic interest tbh. Neither feel right for very different reasons and unless another interest comes along I think I'll just drop this one...
How about the yellow hair kid?
I means the student named Soe Yejun.
I ship eunwoo with him.
Ehh seems like too much of a longshot and I'd rather not set myself up for disappointment. =T
