Ok. This is the story of some girl who finds herself reincarnated into the world of a novel she likes as a princess of a nation who barely has anything to do with the main plot. Said main plot is over and the two romantic leads are married and enjoying their "happily ever after". Girl wants to go for the "second male lead", not because she's in love, but because she's a fan and wants to make him happy, as he got his fool ass banished to some godforsaken, cold-ass duchy. He's this girl's fave character, and gosh darn it, she wants to make him happy! By attempting to get him to marry her. I dunno, being his friend would probably have been enough, but no, the dumb mc thinks going straight to marriage is the thing she wants, but somehow doesn't think about what marrying him would mean for their relationship.
Now the story is sort of compelling, so it will keep you reading but unfortunately the plot isn't thought out well and as such, mc comes off as a 12 year old child. To be fair ages are never mentioned so I don't know her true age, but I was under the impression that mc before reincarnation was out of high school. So Mc is pretty sweet and nice, and just ripe for getting exploited in a toxic relationship, cause she's pretty naive and easily manipulated. She's not exactly unlikable in my opinion, so the fact she's an idiot isn't bad necessarily. Except the whole reason she likes the ml is because she's an idiot. I don't think mc and ml are going to develop a toxic relationship mind, m just seems like the kind of person who would fall for the Nigerian prince email scams...

-Spoilers-

The second male lead is exiled as he is, not because the original ml (hiss half brother) was being mean. It's because he couldn't take "no" for an answer from the original female lead. He fought his brother in order to fight for his love. A love that had already been rejected. And I HATE that the mc makes him out to be some tragic hero, because he wasn't. He brought that shit on himself, put his brother in a position where he almost had to execute family, and almost made the love of his life bear witness. What in the fuck did he think was going to happen if he won? That his lady love would suddenly not love his brother anymore and swoon into her arms, like "Ooooh! The fact you don't respect my feelings or decisions and tried to kill the man I love is soooo sexy! Take me now!" I am SO sick of stories that make two of the romantic love triangle fight each other and ignore all input from the person who's opinion and feelings matter the most. Dude is a villain, not some tragic hero. He didn't step aside to let the love of his life be happy, he actively tried to destroy her happiness, and selfishly demoted her to an object to be fought over and won. Fuck that shit. He deserves to have been sent as far from the happy couple as possible, and should thank his lucky stars he wasn't executed as he should have been for the treason. MC knows all this about him, which is why I call her an idiot.

-End of Spoilers-

The art is not to my taste. It's rather simple looking, though I do like the coloring style. It's not bad, just has aspects I don't really like, particularly the women. They seem to all look like children. The translation starts off fine, and then takes a nose dive incomprehensible, comes back up to barely understandable and then fine again. Aaand then it's just shit for waaay too many chapters. It rather tired me out and was a major contributing factor to me dropping this. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on this, even if the plot appeals to you, the translation will make sure to kill your enjoyment of the story dead.

An extremely strong martial arts master is on his death bed and is about to pass on, when a subordinate manages arrives to feed him something that's supposed to save him. Despite this, the subordinate is apparently too late, and the master dies. He however awakens in the body of an apprentice from some other sect that uses a different cultivation method. It's once again, an adult in some teens body who trains to get stronger and regain his position at the top of the martial arts world. An evil man forced to live in the body of a disciple of a good sect. As he trains and fights and makes enemies and gets allies, mysteries crop up one after another on his road to achieve his goals. I like the story so far, it's got no superfluous romance, although I did get weird BL vibes from the character designs of one or two of the senior disciples which was funny. No actual BL though, and not really any het love either. Though waaay later in the story some girls do take an interest in MC. The art is good and the plot is pretty interesting. Our main character can be a little annoying at times, but it's mostly fun watching him go about living his new life. The cast of characters is growing a little more numerous as the story progresses, but thankfully the rest of the cast isn't being dragged along, which doesn't overwhelm the reader with trying to remember who everyone is. The characters are fleshed out enough to be distinct and memorable. The translation... Well the english isn't unreadable, but names and terminology change a lot between scanlators and it gets confusing trying to identify what sect, merchant, person they are talking about. Some left terms like "sasuk" with no explanation what that was, as well as some other terms and names that changed over some chapters as well. Calling merchants "tops" was... very weird, and also mc being called "master uncle" by his two students is extremely distracting with how unnatural and weird it sounds. Should have just left the original korean term or whatever, cause it just doesn't work in english. Even though it's Asura scans there's a lot of weird grammar, like unnecessary "of"s, "the"s and "a"s in sentences. Think I saw someone in the comments say it wasn't actually asura scans but some other translation group taking their credits page and pretending? I don't know if it's true, but it would make sense for the state of the english grammar. Perhaps? Weird af though, and utterly pointless if true.
I think the mystery is engaging, and the story fun to follow along. Perhaps the other characters roll with mc's antics a little too easily, but I can't bring myself to mind as they are all slowly (and I do mean slowly!) but surely corrupting our evil MC's heart with decency. lol

This is the story of a girl who in order to take care of her sisters, dresses as a man (I don't really know how it's convincing, but sure) to peddle candy by day and steal from the rich to give to the poor by night. There's no mention of her father, but her mother was killed some time ago, and our MC is trying hard to find the culprit and get revenge. During her investigation she meets a number of people including the male lead and the second male lead. She ends up investigating drug trade. The romance is there, but thankfully doesn't get in the way of the mystery plot, although the quasi love triangle annoys me. The story is interesting and the characters are engaging. The translation seems good, and the art is fantastic, though it does not help with MC's disguise when trying to look like a man. I honestly just don't get how anyone (ESPECIALLY OTHER WOMEN) could ever mistake her for a man. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Her disguise is essentially men's clothes + hat. Like this is C-drama levels of bad.

Reality Quest

Ongoing | lee joo-woon,taeseong | 2019 released

A high schooler dies after bullies force him to play games for a weeks straight in order to mine for rare items (Thanks for the predatory gambling games industry!). He gets sent back to a week before his death, but with a game system window that slowly lets him unlock skills but also gives him quests he doesn't initially want to do. The system inflicts terrible punishment if he abandons or tries to refuse a quest, so he's pretty much forced into it, and life doesn't seem that much better at first, just different. It gets better though.
I like the story, but at the same time it has a lot of flaws. It's a fun read so I recommend it for that alone, but if you like to think about the stuff you consume, even a little, you'll start to maybe enjoy this a little less. There's some weird stuff that isn't explained, the girls are kinda drawn weird, and it seems this is borderline harem as there's quite a few girls interested in MC. The villains are all one note, and while entertaining the fights scene progression reaches superhuman levels without anyone actually being superhuman. Except for MC that is.
The bully council bothers me. We don't find out why it's a thing, and MC just... stays in it, even though he hates bullies? And so far he only fights bullies (plus a few adult criminals), but I still don't understand why he stays cause he's still ostensibly part of the system. There's some interesting mystery regarding the death of MC's father as well as the identity of the system administrator. The art is pretty good, though yeah, the girls are a bit weird... like they've been stretched to make their ass and thighs thicker, but still having a thigh gap somehow. It's very weird. Most of the guys don't look like the high schoolers they supposedly are either. The translation seems to be ok, the english is above average for this site. Which is to say it's good. All in all I do recommend giving this a go and seeing what you think for yourself- Even though the mc is a victim of bullying fighting bullies, there isn't any sort of revenge aspect to it at all. It's all just self defence for the most part. Well except for when there's attempted sexual assault on a female character close to MC that is.

Life Completely Ruined

I wont bother with giving my own summery, it would be difficult.
This story made me feel a lot of conflicting emotions. And a lot of second hand embarrassment, to the point I'd frequently have to do something else. Also a lot of wtf-moments or what-the-fuck-ery. It's definitely interesting, and if you're already familiar with this author's other stuff, then you'll likely have a blast. Personally it was a bit too wild of a story for me to really get emotionally invested in, so when real sad and dramatic moments happened I was aware of them, but not really affected. It's kind of the same as when I tried reading Gintama, except that Gintama was far more frustrating than this. This was a fun read in a way, and it seems to have really worked for a lot of people. I managed to finish the story and I do like how it turned out and I don't regret giving it my time. It's a shame, cause I do absolutely love "How to Fight"/"Viral Hit" whatever the title is these days, but this author's other works just don't work for me at all.
The story is ok, if you like manager kim or lookism, you should probably like this too. There's references here and there to the other in-universe stories by this author.
Oh, um.. the translation ranges from ok to "I wish these were translated by someone else". For some reason this author's works attract translation teams who may be great with korean but barely able to string two sentences together in english. It's definitely not word-salad level of bad when it gets bad, but not what I'd term good either. The art as always is brilliant! Never got any complaints about the art.

A guy burdened into becoming humanity's champion to fight against monsters coming out of dungeons, finds himself the sole survivor of the human race and then is killed. He reincarnates into the body of some other boy, years before the apocalypse and sets about trying to save humanity again. The beginning is kind of choppy, I dunno if there are pages missing or what, but there were a couple instances where I was left wondering if there was a scene missing. Exposition is not dumped on the reader in huge amounts of text, there's less of it and the plot keeps you engaged. I wouldn't say this stands out among all the other series that feature reincarnation and game-like worlds. Although perhaps the cast of characters so far is mercifully small, something I sometimes find gets a bit out of hand with other stories like this. There are some plot threads that get set aside and take time to get resolved, which made me initially uneasy because I was afraid they would get abandoned. They didn't! So it's all good. So far, there's no romance annoying or otherwise, which also means no harem, for those who hate that genre as I do. MC's new mother is only there momentarily and is otherwise pretty much written out of the story. This usually annoys me, because why introduce family if they aren't going to do anything interesting with them? However I do like the way the mother was utilized in this, even if her presence in the story is short. The emotional connection and motivation she provides is well done, and her being left out of the plot soon after feels more natural than the author running out of ideas on how to make use of the character. It still bothers me a little, but only in the way that I would like more character moments where mc sits and talks to people and relaxes and lets the story breath for a minute. Sometimes stories like these fall into non-stop action, and this ends up exhausting the reader. But I don't feel it's gotten to this point here... yet.
I got up to chapter 61 and am annoyed with the turn of events that ends up introducing us to a new character. But that's just me.
If you like this sort of stuff with an OP MC, than this is definitely for you. The mc isn't an asshole and is actually pretty nice, though not to the point of being a cinnamon roll. There's no fan service or cheesecake, people aren't sexily losing their clothes in battle. The art is good, and the english is good barring minor grammar hiccups here and there. No word salad chapters here, thankfully! Though I think there may have been one chapter with some pages out of order, but while it was noticeable it didn't hinder reading the story. All in all? It's fine, I'm not inclined to drop it. there's the main goal the Mc is working towards, but there's some fun little side quests that are fun and not presented as check list fetch quests. I would like more emotion and connection in this story (there's so much hinted, but largely unexplored, angst!!), but it's alright for what it is. There's better out there in my opinion, but there's also plenty that's much worse.

I like this story, but I also really don't like it. It has one off supernatural stories where the protagonist goes and solves a mystery behind murders and what not. I love that sort of stuff. It's my jam! There's sex between the main couple in this. Not graphic, but the reader is not left to wondering what's going on. Also it is consensual, which is nice. But... the romance... ugh. It's frustrating for a variety of reasons. It's love at first sight (kind of) which I'm sure many would find fine, but I don't like it because it's well.. sudden. Unfortunately the romance trope is will-they-wont-they, which is the source of most of my frustration.
Mc is a girl pretending to be a boy and for some reason, can't tell the other party (ML) about it. I don't know why. I wonder if I missed the explanation at some point somehow, or if it's just something mc can't get herself to do for no other reason than it's been too long and the lie is too big now? I dunno. But the angst is weird because of it. The love interest tends to run into mc as a woman when she's just been poisoned most of the time. Because of this, during these encounters she can't seem to say anything about who she is and why she can't be with him. It would be nice if she did explain why she can't be with him properly, cause I don't really understand it either. Anyway, the art is good, the action is nice, though sometimes hard to follow. The same with the story, sometimes it feels like panels are missing or bits of story have been skipped. Other times you get a chapter or two of gibberish masquerading as a translation. The words used are english, but you can't understand shit. For the most part, the chapters are legible. At least up until chapter 80, because that's about where I got up to in the story. Sadly, I don't want to read anymore because of the romance, but the one off supernatural crime stories are fun, and remind me a bit of Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. It's a shame, because there are a lot of good elements. I really would have preferred the main couple getting close as emperor and general, rather than one night seeing mc as woman and just falling to her feet like a puppet with it's strings cut. Gives it more some obsessive stalker vibes, though that could just be me. Mc at least, up to this point has had some moments where she's been attracted to the other party before they spend their first night together, so it doesn't bother me as much. Anyway, not a bad story, particularly for those who like will-they-wont they romance tropes and drama form gender secrets. MC disguising themselves as a man in this is certainly way more believable than most c-drama's since it's due to some sort magic and not just a girl wearing a man's clothes with their hair up. If the summary piques your interest I encourage you to give this story a read.
