I've kind of been waiting for Rai to die for a while now. Like last series i thought he would die after helping Muzaka with Maduke. Or even be unable to properly fight seeing as he was allowing his power to leak out and make himself look healthy so as not to worry his school friends. I'm a bit miffed about what Muzaka does to help with this, and even more so that Muzaka survives. I mean damn, i really wish Garda had killed him. I mean plot wise that would have been bad, but seeing as I rather dislike him, it would have made me happy personally to see him go that way. Also Maduke's villian monologueing was freaking ridiculously funny. Didn't really care about his fight seeing as of course good would triumph in the end. Don't get me wrong i really like Noblesse, and i liked this last arc for the most part, just really did not like Muzaka as a character. I don't think the writing was bad, just don't like him. Aaand well the last arc was rather full of him, sooo yeah... ^^;;
Also, sadly there doesn't seem to be much space for Shinwoo and the gang in the story anymore. I was hoping they'd get developed further and will forever be disappointed that the Union didn't manage to kidnap Shinwoo. That would have been so interesting, and then at least it would have given him more reason to be part of the plot. The scenes that take place in school always seem really vague. I mean there are other kids in that class right? Do they just not interact with Shinwoo and the gang? Also it's been established that Shinwoo and Ik-han aren't bad looking. Least Ik-han is cute. So how have they been single all their life? Am I seriously expected to believe that someone like Shinwoo who is actually good looking doesn't have some kind of a fanclub? Or didn't at least used to before Rai appeared anyway? You'd think that by this point Shinwoo would have his own gang, and Ik-han would have an enourmous following online. Also I realise the KSA may have given up, but really? Ik-han's not on the radar of any other government agencies? I also want to know more about Suyi. She's apparently really famous, but she remains completely unharrassed by any paparazzi or tabloid people. Or at least appears to be. She also has no crazy stalkers, and doesn't seem to actually need to work now that she did that one photoshoot. I dunno, but i thought after the wearwolf act we'd get a little more time with the human characters, maybe some slice of life before jumping straight into the next fight scene. We got a little, but i feel it's too little. This ending was incredibly rushed and sadly M-21 never found his name, which honestly I thought was a huge deal and am real annoyed he never got to fight the scientist dude. It was personal man! He should have had his moment, and found his name. I would even have accepted scientist dude telling him they never bothered to note the names of all the experimental subjects, and that M-21's search had been completely futile this entire time. That would have been ok! As long as M-21 got to kick the shit out of him after that. TT-TT
