I don’t remember the over all plot and I may got it wrong but it was most likely a BL boss/employee office romance.
There was a seen where the mc and a subordinate had to go to a meeting. The man looked like a yakuza member and only spoke Japanese. Since they didn’t speak the same language they where just writing on a back of a piece of paper. The man enjoyed there interaction so much when the ML came it got them a deal.
