His Ex-wife experienced a depression, from what I saw, My mom explained to me this type of depression ( My mom is a psychiatrist so yeah), which is postpartum or postnatal depression, it mostly occurred in childbirth (mostly firstborn) and not only to women but also occurred to men (sometimes both). My Mom experienced also this type of depression when I was born since my dad is busy at work coz of expenses and there’s not money to feed me, but luckily my dad take care of us both despite of being busy, even do double jobs ( I almost die during birth tho because of almost lack of oxygen inside the brain)...
so yeah! maybe that’s the reason hehe
this is just based on my understanding in the current chapter.. no hate :)
