I don't get why so many are moaning about politics when it's been political from the start; it's like they all skipped the first season and just went straight into Triple Maker!
The romance has always been in the back seat of the story. It's a political story, with a side of romance. I didn't even know it was BL when I started reading it because it wasn't obvious at all. It wasn't till later on that you really realised it.
Shin wasn't going to marry him at all until the whole political side of things was settled, and that's pretty obvious just by reading this and his thoughts. Shin always worried about that and how it would affect Wolfgang ruling, which is why with the help of the Queen Mother and the Dragon's magic, they created the Princess.
They Princess is called a queen because in many countries, especially one in which they've never had a one before, they are called King. Do your research. Not every country is the same.
The Dragon and his blue husband near the end explain the importance of the magic and why it all came about in the first place. The Dragon is the source of the magic, and his blue husband was the first king. The magic is gone from the world by the end and it no longer exists to interfer in things. The dragon's descendants were the guys with red hair in the Manhwa, and the dragon's son is the guy with read hair who appears in the last season, who lives at the magic castle. The Princess loves to wind him up!
There was so much more of their love shown in the last season, and we see Randolph marry the Purple haired guy (I can never remember his name). I loved seeing him all jealous at one point!
I hope we do see Wolfgang and Shin's wedding, but I still love how it ends. If you've read it all, you will see how the dance at the end is so significant and how beautiful an ending it made. It does say to be continued, but that could just be the mature version of volume 3.
King's Maker's a separate series, which finished her at Season 2. The follow-up from one is Triple Crown, and that's from where it says Season 2. Read Triple Crown first because you will be super confused otherwise.
To stop yourself from getting confused, just make sure you read it from the beginning, and it's pretty easy if you do that. Just make sure you pay attention to everything you learn along the way.
