I've already read Blood Bank, Killing Stalking, Warehouse (a srsly fucked up webtoon), Raising a Bat, and Never Understand. Not sure what webtoon to read anymore after that. Any good suggestions? (Preferably ones that were not discontinued to be uploaded here)

YOU SHOULD TRY THE WEBCOMICS IN TAPASTIC, I honestly prefer webcomics in Tapastic over Lezhin (due to presonal reasons) so you should go check them out!!
I recommend "A Matter of Life and Death","A God in the Field" and "Three Wishes" Those are my top 3 from that website (take note theyre all not yet finished,bl in tapastic get to be wayy longer than mangas and manhwas, thouh they update really frequently, and theres ALOT more bl in tapastic those are just my faves <3)
I hope this helps

Regardless of yaoi being more sexually explicit (and is therefore more awesome), which do you prefer reading? Yaoi or Shoujo?

What are you thinking asking a question like that at mangago, mother of all yaois, fudanshi, and fujoshi!? Obviously, yaoi has a rating of 1 billion while shoujo is at 1 or rarely 2.

Actually, it totally depends on mood. Yes, I am addicted to Yaoi but there are times when I miss the shoujo magic. Thanks to a handful shoujo mangaka who dare to break the shoujo stereotypes I still go back to shoujo, time to time. And I still keep in touch with josei regularly. Unlike shoujo, josei never gets boring, for me.
Yaoi is more sexually explicit & thus of course very appealing to a girl like me. But that is not the only reason why I like it. I also have my times when I crave for a pure fluffy shounen ai without sex. Just like that sometimes even explicit yaoi isn't enough for me & I find myself picking up something hardcore, pwp & porny to read OR even hentai sometimes.
Right now I do prefer yaoi. But If you ask me the same question while I am on my shoujo binge, the answer might be different.

Agreed (๑•ㅂ•)و✧. I don't really have a preference for one over the other. As long as the art, plot, & characters have interesting features, it doesn't matter whether it's shoujo or yaoi.
Though I will admit ~ as a female reader, it's easier to be judgmental of the heroines in shoujo manga because I project my own ideals unto their characters. As a result, I usually go for strong/strong-minded heroines. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
In the end, I'm more picky about which shoujo manga I take up, but I like yaoi & shoujo equally, & I prefer seinen overall.

Do you think I will ever grow too old for yaoi? I mean when you get a job and start to think about more important things...you probably won't have a lot of space for your yaoi fantasies...right? (I know this totally sounds like a weird question.)

No, you won't grow too old for yaoi. There may be times where you feel that you need to take a break away from it, but you'll be back. And when you come back to it, you'll question your decision to take a break from it because you have tons of yaoi mangas to finish reading. (⌒▽⌒) But seriously, you'll never be too old for yaoi.

Well unless every guy becomes as hot as those guys are I doubt I'll ever stop reading it at least. I'll always fantasize about hot guys.

that would entirely depend on you. i had already finished school when i started yaoi. still reading. :D

It's not a weirdo question at all but whether or not you drift away from yaoi has less to do with becoming busy and having other things in your life than it is to do with whether or not you will still have the same needs that yaoi now fills, and that is entirely individual. I am married and find that the yaoi fantasy enhances my marriage rather than distracts from it or vice versa. All you can do is wait and see how your own needs develop.

Thats one of my greatest concerns!!!
I read manga in general a lot to the point where i can't fall asleep without reading manga then i started to worry about growing older and not having time. but many people here are pretty much older than me so it makes me happy to know that i will continue reading FOREVER.

I totally understand! Try turning it off and leaving it in another room sometimes so you're not tempted. Get a regular alarm clock if that's what you use it for (like me). And turn it off an hour before you plant to go to bed. You'll sleep better. Trust me on this. Last night I did all of those things and I'm still sick (stupid sinus infection) but I slept better last night than I have in ages. But still sick. *lol*

Any good yaoi/shounen ai manga that's pretty old? Like around the 80's-early 2000's? You'll know by the art if it's old. I started to like reading recently.

How about this one? :)

What's your favorite yaoi trope? And what's ur fave manga that has that?
Mine is childhood friends slowly becoming lovers...a platonic relationship to a romantic one.
I just read this one about childhood friends and loved it.

age gap, I love older man so much. of course with painful past but happy ending story.

I love this two:

http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hanaya_no_nikai_de/

I adoooore stories about second loves!! You know, those stories with characters that used to have a lover that now is either dead or broke their heart and then a new loving character manages to envelop the heartbroken one in his passionate love~ Hnnng! I love that kind of dramatic plot!
Good exemples are "Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai" (novel), the second story from "Mizu no Haru", "Doushitemo Furetakunai" and "500-nen no Itonami".

Do you still remember your first yaoi?
My first was Double Mints by Nakamura Asumiko. That author made me fall in love with yaoi hard.

Abarenbou Kareshi. Scared the shit outta me when I first saw a dick.

Love Prize in the most accidental way. It's funny to think about because I was rather young it was so sexual so I'd imagine there were a lot of emotions going on then. This was when it only had like ten chapters and the first chapter was terrifying and curious in a way I hadn't understood yet. Yet a few years down the road I've joined the bandwagon of it becoming a classic favorite. Clearly that didn't turn into a trauma haha.

Katekyo! was my first yaoi manga I ran into on youtube. I was surprised at first cuz I didn't know anything about yaoi, but I quickly became interested for how little I was ( ̄∇ ̄") Now I read yaoi almost everyday.

Mt haha. I didn't even know what it was at first I just clicked and knew it was something sexual. Then I read the whole thing :D

I honestly have no idea! xDD I think it was http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/koisuru_boukun/ or http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/little_butterfly/

Love Kitchen by Haruka Minami. Was around fourth grade at the time and obsessed with more mature shoujos. Didn't know what grope meant. That was when I found out. ( ̄∇ ̄")
Traumatised by them fucking. But I went back to it after a couple weeks or months and then became obsessed with Haruka Minami. I still know most of her mangas by heart from reading everything. I can tell you right here that in Love Pet, there's a weird ass scene with the uke looking like a prepubescent boy with awkward proportions. And many others.
But my first actual good plot + yaoi was Junjou Romantica. Really cute.

Same

My first was Crimson Spell. I was reading it on the TV screen with my PS3 (thank GOD no one was home) and I didn't notice the yaoi genre when I read the synopsis. Now, keep in mind I had never even read shounen ai before, let alone an explicit yaoi. You can imagine my surprise when I clicked the next page and got a front row view of the action...
[ this page--> http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/crimson_spell/mh/v01/c001/25/ ]
I quickly closed it (and had a mini heart attack) but my curiousity had been piqued and I went back to read it later. Thus began my life as a fujoshi.

Stumbled over seven days back when it was released in snippets (ooohhh the exhilarating wait) and in its wake landed smack in the middle of http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/child_epicurean/ - which ruined me quite thoroughly.
Didn't have a clue as to what yaoi or even shounen ai could mean, but as much as I loved seven days, Minami Haruka was so ... proud and in-your-face ("plot? overrated!"). Had to switch tabs a lot or shut the browser spontanously - but I always came back to it ^^

Heh, now that i think about it ... it was loveprize in viewfinder... i used to read shoujo mangas but then i couldn't find any with good art like handsome males and when i saw the cover of viewfinder, there was asami looking so breathtakingly hot, i just couldn't resist it and after that well i kinda went with the flow and now it feels like i'm not gonna last if i don't read them... Kind of like an addiction..!

Nice. Seven days is a beautiful one
But yeah, Haruka Minami's work is just PWP. I don't know why I liked it. A perverted fourth grader is weird. Obviously, her works pale in comparison to masterpieces like Live Prize, Hidoku Shinaide, Katekyo, etc. That was just my piss-poor induction into the yaoi world. I wish my first one was one of the good ones. But at least Junjou Romantica was one of my first-ish ones.

At least thanks to her I lost every ounce of inhibition ^^
By now I rather prefer something like Yoneda Kou or Tenzen Momoko and naturally my all-time-favorite Gusari and Chikadoh/Halco - they just strike something inside of me, that Minami Haruka doesn't reach anymore. But if it wasn't for her, I wouldnt't have ventured further, so first dibs to her ^^

Does anyone know a manga with glasses-wearing seme? Would also be nice if he was masculine and super mysterious looking. (Forgive me...I'm a MidoTaka shipper who just watched Kuroko no Basuke today).

I just read the Deadlock manga but I can't find the complete drama CDs anywhere (all the old links are broken).
Does anybody here have it? Or know where I can find it?
