i think he had temporary heart issues due to the extreme pain of his loss, but deluded himself into thinking the mc was still alive as a coping mechanism. at the end he is still waiting for the mc to “return home” or whatever

Yeah I’m Chinese one of my eyes have a double fold while the other is monolid. Pretty much everyone has uneven eyes- one bigger and one smaller even if they’re both double eyelids,. So it’s just weird and funny to me why that was specifically pointed out lol.
