i relate so much with ml. i understand his point of view, he likes mc as a person and also as a lover but he wants to protect his friendship with him because he doesn’t make close friends everyday. also, it’s the first guy he ever liked so he wants to be sure at 100% that he can have a deep relationship with and not rush things. he’s very cerebral and pragmatic so he tries to see every options and balance the right and wrongs, and it’s at his honore like i would have hated that he just rush things to be with him. idk i just really like his view of things and relationship and his complexicity makes all the story more interesting. i’m so excited to see the rest and thank you to the updaters and translator!!
