To us readers it’s clear her husband is inlove with her, despite the novel stating the opposite. I assume he deluded himself into thinking Aria was his wife due to him denying her death probably. Especially given how the cloak was painstakingly made before the upcoming festival which he intended to go with her. He even matched the color of the brooch to her eyes.
However, for the MC, she transmigrated into a novel she read which were “facts” from the OG heroine’s perspective. With her life on the line, she had to think of any possibility that could endanger her. Sadly, with knowledge from the book her husband’s infidelity could possibly link to her death. It’s reasonable why she’d think so but the portrayal of the story isn’t great because they made it obvious from the get go. It would’ve been nice for us readers to second guess instead of handing it directly with no room to speculate.
I can definitely relate to the MC, all down from abuse, depression, trauma and fear of sharing her story. It’s definitely not easy to open up, and forcing them is not the right way to do it.
Iz taking his time to make her feel assured and being considerate of her is the best and only way you could make someone more comfortable to open up to you. Moreso, he doesn’t want to hurt her. It’s only up to the person who’s suffering whether or not she wants to share it.
ML is too childish, he acts like a 10yo. Not my cup of tea.
