Am I the only one who thinks the omega is just as responsible for their shitty situation. He didn't tell the alpha his feelings and had a casual relationship with him while knowing he was a fvck boy. He became an omega, had s3x with the alpha while he was in heat and they bonded. He ran away without saying anything. No body is a mind reader. Also he knew the alpha was a d1ck but he still fell in love with him, what did he expect? That he would all of a sudden become a loving person.
Also on to his friend.... They have been together for year's with the alpha showing up, but he never confessed his feelings. He only did it after the alpha showed up and took the omega away. Also if his family could have help the son, why didn't they do so. I am not trying to discredit the help they give the omega by given him a job and a place to stay. But it is sus that he is now confessing his feels now.
Most of their situations would be resolved if they actually had an honest conversation with each other
