At first I wasn't against the relationship but I gradually started to hate Joel for his behavior towards Jesse and I can't imagine that a person that ignores their own chid, to run towards a boy that clearly doesn't want anything with you anymore is good. uhh I had to rant lmao
I know this sounds crazy but what if the story ends with the uke (forgot his name) rewriting the legend and giving it a happy ending and it get's to be like a really popular book, hence causing the God to get more powerful . So at the end they can have a really cute and lovely life.
I honestly would't mind them living in the pond as a cute dragon pair tho
