It's all the miscommunication trope again. But still, the guy did fall the down the stairs and had serious enough trauma in the head to make him lose memories. And yet all the other guy did was wallow in his self pity and focused only on his own misery and not the fact that the other guy is so in love with him, he still fell in love with him a second time. Also all I heard was the seme apologising because he dared to forget about their relationship ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Genuinely, r we reading the same thing? Did you read with no comprehension? Honestly if we were in his perspective, after being disowned bcs of him being gay and seeing that his lover might be interested at the thoughts of having kids, knowing that you can't give what he wanted because of you both being a same sex couple is tough. Mentioning again the trauma he has being disowned by his parents (heavily implied that he was disowned for being gay). Yeah, the other guy is in love with him and he clearly knows that, but he wanted to give him the life he assumed he wanted. A better life (meaning a life with a family he can't give). He took the chance of making the ml disregard his presence when he lost his memories, it was honestly a more selfless thing to do rather than selfish as he remembers and ml does not. Ml is apologizing for 'making him suffer' and even if he wasn't the direct cause or even the entire cause, Mc was suffering all on his own still. They didn't miscommunicate, they communicate really well. It's just that there are times trauma acts up which causes a person to lash out which is what caused the incident, they didn't miscommunicate.
Awww now why'd you go and attack me like that?
You know, just because we have different opinions and perspectives doesn't give you any right to attack me personally.
I mean, if you think there was nothing wrong with what he did, then that's your opinion. And I'm not forcing you to agree with me, am I? :)
Both are really at fault here and both are playing victims of their own foolishness. They both lied and took advantage of each other. Now they can't take the consequences of their actions and blame each other because now they have to face the truth. ugh
Can someone please spoil me if the story gets better?
So far, I like how the author used the side character, personal assistant, in this chapter (59).
Usually, a character is introduced to make the ML/MC jealous. However, usually the reaction from the ML or MC would be blown out of proportion and muddle the relationship even more or nothing would happen to the relationship of the main couple - so unnecessary.
But here, nothing is blown out of proportion. Instead, the situation is used to help the MC realize his own shortcomings, e.i. the realisation that all he had been doing is focusing on his own problems and taking the presence of his lover for granted. Not that he doesn't deserve the TLC and spoiling he had been receiving from the ML because he does 1000%. He has suffered enough. But too much of that is not good in the long run for his mental health and their relationship. Their would become a tendency for him to be too dependent on the ML. And that is a heavy burden.
So hopefully, the next episode we'll see them both talk it out and the MC open himself to ML so that they can both work their problems together.
And they would live happily ever after
And of course, I still hate that personal assistant character. He is such a sneaky crazy lil bitch.
Seriously, the first few panels I've read and I'm already getting annoyed at the way the grandma is treated. No matter what horrible trauma or pain one is in does not in any way excuse that kind of rude behavior towards an elderly or anyone for that matter. It's their first time meeting, so I'm sure the grandma has done nothing wrong with the kid. And, will he eventually help out and be kind to the grandma? And apologize for his very annoyingly rude behavior? This goes against my very asian upbringing LOL
Sooooo seme? probs in love with uke?'s bro. Then sees the older bro in him which is creepy af even if they're not related. Still creepy even if seme wasn't in love with his bro. I mean, based on his discussion with his friend architect, he has known uke was in love him for a long time. But he still goes to see him every year. It really is selfish of him to use uke just because he misses his only family? or is it just to satisfy his own guilt that he survived while his bro died? or because he actually enjoyed knowing the uke was in love with him? And to actually make uke work for him? knowing how he feels? and how he doesn't want any relationship with him or is reluctant to??? There are other ways of protecting him other than making him suffer more by being with him.
Ugh. I never really liked him even in that other story with the architect.
But I'll read through this since the uke is such a precious gem and I want see him have a happy ending.
*uke's dad
Agree, It seems to me that Naru purposely strings Mei along all the past years. He has feeling for him but doesn't to fully commit for some reasons. That's so shitty.
