Ever since this 2nd chapter/season started, all I could focus on is how they never resolve anything. They put a bandaid on their problems and that's it. :|
Still unsatisfied. And it's not even about him quitting his job. It the fact that they still failed to close the issue as of Chap78. Sure they apologized to each other but where is the part where both of them reflect over what happened and discuss how to avoid the same or worse issue in the future?
And about him quitting his job, it's not that big of a deal for me. He still has another source of income. He actually has it good. If I had a choice to work from home, I'd have grabbed it a loooong time ago. Anyway, he prefers being home with his lover, then so be it. But they both still failed to discuss the bigger problem. Hopefully, in the next chaps, it would happen.
Why does the doctor even get to have a story? Ugh!

Probable spoilers ahead and unadulterated and very biased opinion/rant!
That doctor really effin rub me the wrong way! He already knew Shizuma has a boyfriend. He already tried to mess with them. Why the heck does he get to have space for him to pine over someone who is already taken? Total waste of space. If the author wanted to make a story out of him, the earlier chapters were enough. I already know he has some sort of trauma because of a lover. He has some massive trust issues with other people. We've already seen it, no need to repeat the same conflict in one story. Also, based on what have been shown about him, given the chance, he would've pursued Shizuma. So, no more of him please.
All I need now and moving forward is a story for Minato and Shizuma and how they will become better persons for each other. For Shizuma to get to have his career and enjoy their "married" life without nuisances. And for Minato to finally let go of his trauma and give his full trust to Shizuma.

i used to hate the director too but like someone else said i think people are mistaking her personality for being interested in shizuma. she has no friends. he is literally just her friend and that’s okay, although i ALSO understand minato’s struggle with accepting that. you feel like this because the entire story minato’s been anxious and jealous and we’ve seen what his thoughts are about her. the director couldn’t give less of af about shizuma romantically

she likes tatsumi :) and she’s curious about minato, and wants to be more like him. she’s repressing a lot of things about herself and while i agree there’s a lot about her in their story, it’s a good side plot to have about dealing with trauma and being a trans person in japan
"mistaking the personality" the director told Shizuma to break up with Minato, without knowing sh*t about him or their relationship and someone like that should be liked? Trauma or not, that's just being an asshole at it's best.
I really hope the director won't be a big part of this series, if so and the main story will split similar to Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, it would've been better to stop Therapy Game after the two volumes, without starting RE
have you SEEN minato’s personality in Secret XXX? he was terrible and a mean person. i’m assuming that’s just how the director is— socially awkward and bad at conveying their feelings. yeah it was a sh t thing to say but i know they’ll get better lol
and yeah i agree with you about it being ended with the first volume, but on the other hand i LOVE reading about them so idk, it’s really a double edged sword for me
Of course I saw, but all in all Minato always was a sweet boy, he was only mean to Shouhei, because he felt that his brother was taken away from him. Looking at the past of these brothers it's understandable + Mito really papered Minato a lot while they grew up.
It's a big difference to someone being mean for no reason and telling someone to break up with their boyfriend, so that they could date that person themselfs

I, of course lean heavily towards "hating" on the doctor but I get your point of view. Its just that, we are right too. Lol.
I get the idea that he could just see Shizuma as a male friend he had for the first time ever or for the first time since his trauma with his first lover (?) because we all know how friendly and accepting he is of everyone. And one can't just help but be drawn to those kinds of people.
BUT! The doctor literally tried to get in the way of his date and his relationship.
If he isn't interested in Shizuma, then one reason for his actions is jealousy. I think he knew Shizuma was in a relationship with a guy. And he probably felt envious of their happiness. And if this is the reason, then that's just petty and an unnecessary part of the story.
If he was interested in Shizuma, then his actions are not likable, to put it lightly. Imagine using his authority as the boss to ruin another person's relationship. Red flag!
And, also I already knew he was going to be a love interest of Shizuma's friend. I think we've read the same person's comment. But, based off of what is currently happening, is their any way to redeem the doctor? I can't see it yet. so, for now, my opinion remains. He is a jerk and he doesn't deserve a space in Shizuma's and Minato's story.
He could have a spin off lal by himself in a separate story that is not in this story.
So, yep, I really don't like the doctor. Lol.

hmmm story is cute. But somehow, I can't feel the chemistry between the MC and ML. Maybe I'm not just in the right mindset or it is still too early in the story. I can feel the build up to something but there's still something missing........
In other stories, this would be presented as awful and frustrating.
In here, it's adorable, cute, and funny. Author-san is indeed amazing! To be able to turn a bad plot device into something that will make the readers laugh is genius!
Yeah~ they would dramatize it by one of them seeing the other from behind standing so close to the "rival" that it leads to them to misunderstand that it's a kiss or something
This is really well written. You just feel so in love with the story and characters. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I really love the two of them, they're such adorable munchkins!
First of all I do love this story. The characterization are just on point and they stand on their own from the main ones to the supporting ones. You root for your favourites and hate those you hate. The build up was also just right. It wasn't too slow or too fast. You get to enjoy each chapter and process how you feel with each progress in the story. I just also adore the three main characters. You just wish them all the happiness in the world after everything they went through. But sadly, you also understand why the story had to be the way it was. It was a fair conclusion.
HOWEVER, being biased as I am towards BL, I would have preferred to read more how the two male MCs overcome their issues and be together finally. As it is, the story is basically a slice of life story about friendship and love. But I guess that was the main intention of the author and I'm just trash LOL so the ending was anticlimactic to me.
Anyway, I did enjoy the story. I laughed, I cried, I got angry. This really gave a rollercoaster experience.
