Dropping this at ch 12 bc all the characters lack any critical thinking, and the MC is rightful to hate the ml and his bro but they act like she's a bitch for not loving him

Fls reason to hate him was dry tbh. They had some serious misunderstandings, but unlike other misunderstanding-tropes, they cleared it all through talking (didn't expect that bc the characters are 'lacking', huh) but unfortunately you couldn't witness it due to prejudice. Art is satisfying for the eyes, story has depths, characters are character-ing, idk what else you expect.

Why are villains established in the very beginning still alive? You married the emperor you are now empress or queen or whatever. Why are you still having these problems? Who cares if it's unethical you know what they did so just get rid of them

He knows his mother has been abused and humiliated and like not taken care of obviously. So why do they still side with the father? What's the point of having the character be divorced in the first episode if you're going to remarry them 60 episodes later?

I don't know if anyone's going to read this but I had read this back when it originally came out 2016 and I reread it every now and then and I'm posting this in 2024 but it's such a good classic and I don't know. I think more people should read it. I will say I don't like the main character the man but I do. Love Dorothy. I love their dynamic and the way they changes people. I just wish you got more attention
I won't lie. I just had the best cry because of this. It's so sad. Her whole family is dead and she is so depressed and she's slowly finds Solace and comfort through this man. He has probably been in love with her since they were children and he just loves her and he's kind and caring and he's willing to wait for her. I just it's it's so good.
