Placeholders are usually posted because sometimes the site auto updates the chaps from other websites(??) Usually they're badly translated (MTL). So ig uploaders tryna avoid that coz readers are gonna be mad for something that is not their fault.
(Another uploader explained why they kept on posting placeholders from another manhwa im reading)
