I'm saying this because I know there would be a lot of comments about how Ian forgive Raymond too fast and how Raymond is still a scum well.....
Ian understands Raymond's feelings about revenge because Ian himself felt like that before but of course being Ian, he won't ever take revenge even if he wanted to and let's not forget the ones who made Ian suffer in the past were also nobles.
Not that Ian has the same deep hatred that Raymond has because the situation was different but Ian can't really blame Raymond because it would be hypocrite of him, then again that's another reason Ian had to join the protesters but that's another thing.
So yes maybe Ian forgive Raymond too fast but I understand why he did.
Raymond is everything he has right now (apart from Nicholas) that's why Ian accepts everything he does, let's not forget that Ian saw that woman confessing her feelings and Raymond throws her away. Of course he won't do that to Ian but he doesn't know so it may sound toxic but that's where Ian's mind is right now.
I don't blame neither of them because they are well made and well written characters, so don't hate and wait because the next chapters are going to be epic.
