I appreciate this manhwa so much because of how realistic it is.
Raymond haa manipulated people all of his life and he won't magically change because of Ian (he is getting there tho) so him being like this and trying to keep everything in control is very nice because its in character.
Also Raymond since he lost his parents has never lost anything ever again so even though he knows Ian can leave anytime he can't phantom the idea so he goes for the bird cage thing.
Now for Ian, he is also very well written because this is the first time in his life he is happy but he is not dumb, he knows this happiness is temporal and know that he saw that there's is another world apart from Raymond.

why do you keep reading something if you don't like any of the characters or even the story itself
i swear its the same comments every week its like you don't even read the chapter

there is going to be another lead named "tang" who wins in comparison to our ML, he is kind, nice, a decent human being, good looking and in love with our protagonist but he won't win the guy because we know he won't and NN says so, he says that he wont ever give tang a chance but he appreciates tang being there for him and he is a cutie

im do not finish the novel right now in chapter 140 or so and now gu is FINALLY noticing that maybe there is something up with his lover (bitch) and maybe NN is not so bad after all
the bitch ofc is not with gu out of love, he wants fame or something i didn't understand properly bc of the translation but yeah and he hates NN for being talented (no, im serious) and he is the one who ruined his relationship with gu

so that is what i have for you guys i personally love these kind of plots and stories, my guilty pleasure lol but i want to share this with you just because

I tried I really tried but I can't like either of the MCs, especially Kyou but both of them were bad, Misao gets on my nerves honestly but the story itself was very interesting and well written except for the assault parts but very expected of a shoujo like this, sad, but I was not particularly surprised and Kyou snapping at his own son at the end like he is a little kid...he didn't ask to be born and he certainly is not to blame when you have a pretty unhealthy obsession with your teenage wife so gtfo(づ￣ ³￣)づ

Thia was such a cute read I love it !!! My babies are so pure and they deserve each other and deserve to be happy ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
The only thing I did not like apart from the annoying chick that did absolutely nothing lol was that they try to make Hiroto's mom seem like a good person and yeah maybe she is but you dont left your child just like that and I get that she gave up her teenage years to raise him and she apparently did a good job but her leaving does not sit right with me even if I love my mother and she did something like that I would not want to see her ever again but that's just me and I know its written like that for "plot" reasons ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

can you really blame Ian though? everything he always knew was abuses, mistreatment, bad people in general so when he finally found something that gave him some kind of peace why would he let it go? even if it hurts him and he said it himself!!!
he doesn't want to stay and knows very well that staying is stupid but he just want some peace so I can't blame him, I can't shame him for being stupid because he is not holding onto Raymond's love, he is holding on peace and happiness even if it's fake and painful.
