I think one of the tropes I hate most in stories or dramas is that they hid things from the girl to protect only for it to come back and bite them in the ass... If she had known that something is out to get her wouldn't that make her more careful and cautious and in other words safer she can then think of ways to stay safe on top of them protecting her instead of cluelessly falling for traps and being endangered... Then they blame her for doing something dangerous and that she is clueless... i mean hello sir she would be clueless and naive if you guys all team up to hide it from her
