This manhwa is a slow burn so keep that in mind when you read this. Also, these guys are highschoolers and well you know how dramatic that can be. The new chapters got significantly darker and if you re-read the manhwa you can see that it was building up to this so it doesn't come out of nowhere.

I swear to God seeing what happened to YW and getting a chance to see everything from JH's perspective is so jarring because while YW is suffering throughout Middle School JH was living his best life completely unaware of what YW was going through.

I'm going to be completely honest seeing their relationship through JH'S eyes is so sad because in the beginning he felt like YW was this precious little brother who he would always be there for and eventually over time their relationship on his side started to feel like a burden. Like just thinking about it makes me want to cry.

And I can 100% understand why JH felt like that and it also puts into a greater context that their relationship being codependent has always been that way. they have always been in a codependent relationship. And now what JH said to nari makes a lot more sense because he told her that he was the reason why YW is not growing. And he's right because it is his fault that YW has not grown since middle school. The fact that when JH saw that YW was doing perfectly fine without him he felt jealous and kind of dissatisfied is proof that their relationship was not healthy from the get-go.

But as the reader I'm so attached to them both and I want them both to stay friends but Haesol is right. they need space from each other because they cannot be near each other and just have a normal relationship. it's going to go back into being a codependent one the moment something bad happens.

Like the more this goes on my emotions are telling me I want them to stay friends they have to stay together but then my head is telling me they need to stay apart just for a while because if they stay together they're going to end up hurting each other more than helping. (╥﹏╥)

Many people believe sexual assault derives from desire. But no, its actually based on violence. Its a distorted desire to dominate and trample on another person. The act of sexual violence can only ever be considered a form of violence enacted to humiliate and destroy someone for a form of gratification (believe it or not rape is usually rooted in nonsexual motives).  No amount of change can justify the perpetrators actions nor can it reverse the impact it has on the victim.  

The main justification for fictitious rape porn is the fact that it is, fiction.  But that only contributes to the big role pornography in general plays in rape culture. Pornography has a very distinct position in RC. Within porn, sex and violence are interconnected which can train people to be aroused by violent sex. This sends the incorrect message to the  viewer that this is what ‘normal sex’ looks like. A lot of porn is explicitly ‘rape porn’ which portrays the incorrect message that people enjoy rape and that sexual violence is normal. The media (TV shows, books, art, social media) plays a very  important role in rape culture as well. It can desensitise people to the seriousness of sexual violence, sexualises and objectifies victims bodies, and often sympathises with perpetrators instead of  survivors. This is not to say reading or watching fictious rape pornography is inherently wrong but it is to say that justifying and supporting it only increases the stigma around rape and often impacts real victims exposed to this sort of media.  

Consent is like FRIES. 
FREELY GIVEN, meaning no coercion of any form is used.
REVERSIBLE, meaning consent can be taken back at any point.
INFORMED, meaning you can only consent if you know the full story, for example, if someone says they'll use a condom and then they dont, there isn't full consent.
ENTHUSIASTIC, meaning you only do the  things you actually want to do, not the things you feel are expected to do, so if you want to have sex but dont want to go down on someone, that is perfectly valid. 
SPECIFIC, because a yes to foreplay on a Thursday is not a yes to sex the following Monday. Just because you said yes one time, it does not mean they have consent for any other time. There must be consent every time.

Well, I have to say. It's been a week. Yeonwoo is devastated and Haesol is so annoyed.

Yeonwoo really said 'I have no one else besides Junhyuk'. Like yeonwoo your girlfriend is right there. I feel so bad for haesol she was clearly irked by him saying that. I could practically hear her screaming "What about me" in her head. Please let the author give us some good tooth-rotting fluff after this arc full of flashbacks and angst.

JH and YW's breakup is honestly worse then a romantic relationship break up because this is insanity why can't JH just talk things out with YW this is getting out of hand he goes from one extreme to the next and I'm just sitting over here like bro

I feel like ever since KH told JH that his relationship with YW is abnormal he's just been going down a spiral and now he's like our relationship isn't normal and is going to ditch YW.

I genuinely despise this bully character so much. Like oh my God he really said if you want to kill yourself write me in your will. How boring and disgusting do you have to be to say something like that. And in a honesty I'm pretty sure he said that because the moment he noticed that Yeonwoo was cutting himself that he didn't want yeonwoo to die just yet because that would mean that his toy would be gone and he would be bored again.

He's got this sort of sick attachment to yeonwoo and it's honestly disgusting. The fact that yeonwoo looking like a girl is all it took for him to start bullying him is honestly pathetic. since this is an all boys school the fact that nobody was even being disrespectful or rude towards yeonwoo before this bully came is very telling.

What makes this worse is that it's going to get worse in the next chapter. This is torture .
