YEAH BRO
Strive to obtain that " love " where you feel like you're treated like a s*x worker and have no right to refuse (aka are r*ped) at the expense of your pride aka dignity
because who TF NEEDS THAT, RIGHT?
Oh yeah, womp womp, I agree that her uncles whole thing is stupid and I don't know why they made him do that especially because in the light novel he is extremely supportive of byletta's choices.
I think they did the whole "sOmeTImEs you need to sacrifice your career for love" because they're trying to use it as a set up for why they stay together. This whole point doesn't exist in the novel and she genuinely goes from "let me divorce this stinky man" to "oh no I love arnald" in a single chapter, while getting kidnapped.
It's pretty stupid and the entire thing (including the contract) is a massive miscommunication. I don't know why they thought this would help the pacing when they could have just made arnald communicate more and not sulk in a corner.
I'm at chapter 38
I just want to see the mc's happiest times before stopping to read
so how far should I read to before these problems accumulate? Is this already their peak of happiness?
Also I might be wrong but is this censored as in the novel had explicit scenes until now that were left out? I'm not desperate but I just want to know to understand the progress in their relationship clearly
especially after these other comments confirmed my fear about this backstory / past life that can only create problems...
Ian deserves unconditional love after everything he's been through like ugh I swear the reincarnation trope can be good if both reincarnate and see each other for who they are etc
You may coerce him into coming back and working for you to pay off some imaginary debt you're too stupid to investigate but that's all
that Alf guy still better pine after mc from a distance (until he does sth about the issues from back then) while mc enjoys life being the best dragon rider there is ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
prosecutor is gonna obsess over these cctv recordings
