Here’s how I feel. Needed more backstory on each character, i feel like we were given a lot of intentions without deep enough whys. How did the uke and the father end up getting into a sadomasochistic relationship? Why is the uke so messed up? Was he always treated this way throughout his life (he was gangbanged once). Backstory on the seme as well would be nice. More into the Ukes hand injury. maybe some more time to make their devotion towards eachother believable as well. They can’t live without eachother but mostly I just saw a lot of sex. I still loved the art and the story overall, wished for more deep plot , but overall a satisfying end.
Listen I understand why SH reacted the way he did, he finally admitted his feelings, trusted NK, and then he appears to have run away. Now when desperately asking NK for an excuse, NK doesn’t give him one. He feels deceived, and stupid for ever believing his feelings could reach NK. But I HATE THIS PLOT DEVICE SO MUCH. If I would kidnapped, and then told they’d kill me ID TELL HIM BRO. WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO SH IS OBVIOUSLY A LORD LIKE YOURE PROTECTED WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS. All I can hope for is that this will be resolved by SH calming down and being like you right this DOESNT add up because I can’t handle this HONESTLY. I know it’s not back to square one, but this timing SUCKS SO MUCH.

This manga was breathtaking. It was fleshed out, full of love, selfishness, and sacrifice. It gave you everything you want and more. In the end, he saved his family name and kept his lover. They grew together, obviously both literally over the years, but also as lovers and men. The ending was perfectly satisfying. The story never dragged, and everyone got their happy ending (especially his friend getting to marry now kotoko) but not in a quick tie up the loose ends kind of way. A masterpiece.
They really just... fulfill eachother. They perfectly fit one another, and it’s just so beautiful. I love love this relationship, and the soft looks they share.
