I don't like the uke, i mean he is pretty and i get that he went through trauma but he is just fucking annoying and his personality sucks. I really did try to understand him and like him but i just can't for some reason...
And I totally get him,when you are so abused that the pain just doesn't matter and you just want to test your limits how much pain can you take....you have probably led a good life till now

People like that are mean at times because they degrade themselves.They feel like they are trash and what they say isn't really worth anything.The uke didn't do anything major trashy till now according to me(though I might have forgotten something so idk). I like bratty characters when they are well written. And here this the case, his actions makes sense and his personality is realistic.
also I think there is a double standard when it comes to uke vs seme. Readers accept a lot of shit from the latter (criminal things included) but each time an uke is a bit further from the ideal human being, he is disliked. This is also valid for straight romance (double standard for female lead vs male lead)
Nail on the head with this one. Like being abused constantly wouldn’t have negative affects on someone’s personality or something. He’s “human”, hurt people tend to hurt people because it makes them feel better, as a defense mechanism or it’s just what they know.
