Basically the whole thing was a misunderstanding arc that was just cleared up.
MC asked a question probably : ‘how do you feel about me?’ And the ML replied with ‘I cherish you’, which was translated by the game as ‘I despise you’, which cause MC to abandon the game and ultimately abandon his kingdom.

Yes! I'd say it's so slow it's hardly burning... But I still love this story :')
This is my most favorite slow burn when I usually hate if the story drags on but no, this webtoon have reasonable and every chapters or moments with the members are precious (even though some of them are crushing on him lol but it turns out to be cute and sweet)
And with ML too even if he doesn’t have much screen time, every single moment he shows up, Hajin relaxes and finds comfort in his presence as if he can be as Hajin and not Sihyeon.
The author is just.. so peak and writes this story so amazing
I agree! Daejun's scenes are always so meaningful even though they are scarce. This is such a heart felt story line. The more I read, the more invested I become. I love the interactions Hajin has with the group members and his relationship with Daejun. I can't wait to see how their relationship will unfold. The story is great and well written. It's my lack of patience that's killing me (>_<)/
