So what if the mansion is a lab and it's some type of virtual reality he's trapped in. But there are clues built into the simulation for him to hold onto reality and like in a game when you mess up on a level you restart back to a "save point." If you make the right choices, the game ends.

They haven't said how she died so the chance of her being hidden somewhere is still there. But I seriously doubt she's Ghost as they say Eric has her blue eyes while Ghost clearly has red. She would also have had to fool Humpty all those years, who clearly knew her personally.
True. But Eric was able to suppress his powers and used contacts. They said his mother was really powerful. This wouldn't be too hard for her. The intrigue is killing me. Can't wait to see how this all plays out.
I thought of that too--but when Eric's dad dies, he sees the pretty blonde with blue eyes that I think is White. I think Ghost may be Humpty Dumpty's mom.
