so glad i'm not the only one. like what was the conflict and then what was the conflict resolution? and what the fuck was with the pointless flashback? and then kouta is grown up now so makatos all sad and stuff but in love even though he was in love before - ripping my hair out with frustration

Lol.. I don’t think it was a big problem per say but think the problem between the two was that mako was finding it hard to see Kouta in a adult light ig.. although he did fall in love it still hadn’t fully hit him yet and I think thats y when he really realized that Kouta was “man” now and not just the little kid he knew he fell for him all over again..
Mako’s personal problem was that he never got to tell his dad that he was gay so he felt guilty abt it..
I think Mako’s lover/S€x friend did come to like mako but it was like he never had a chance cuz Mako was never really interested.. I think he just wanted to sleep with someone and fill his loneliness cuz he never seemed interested and he also only did it out of curiosity at the beginning..
Seems like the other guy had actually really liked mako’s dad not sure wether if that was romantic or if he just really admired him. At one point he saw mako as a sub for the dad but by the end he knew he shouldn’t think like that cuz mako is his own person.
