Easy explanation of the whole story

I'll call the characters with their hair color for easier to understand.

So there are 3 types of vampires in the world
- Pure blood (only 2 of them left in the world)
- Kin (Half blood)
- Mixed blood (child born from a vam and human)
P.s - majority of normal humans aren't aware of vampire's existence. 

This story revolves around pure blooded vampires and kins.

Pure blooded vampires are immortal and needs blood to survive (though they can be killed in certain ways). As they are immortal, they need immortal source of blood so that they'd never run out of food. When a vampire bites a human, they become the eternal provider of blood to that certain vampire he/she got bit by, not to mention becomes immortal as well and gains certain traits of a vampire (thus half blood).    

So far the story is 'bout the vampire society and their "Kin management system" (rather should I say - food management system) and our MCs and major characters are trying to fix this corrupted system that has been going on for hundreds of years to come in the vampire history. Just like in the in the history of human civilization, we had many corrupted systems and rules from the very beginning but as time passed by, we came to understand what's wrong and right, learned to protest and seek justice, revolutions and wars took place, rules got changed and gradually we tried to upgrade into a better society through both huge losses and gains.     
Just like that in the vampire society, at first they used to treat humans as nothing but food and lock them up in confinement once they become a vampire's kin (also would kill them like insects if they ever disobeyed). But the vampire society went through a revolution as well as hundreds or years passed by and the relationship between a kin and his master is more like a business now. But the main problem is, behind the mask this system is also corrupted to the core even till now due to ONE certain vampire about whom I'll discuss in the characters. Basically we can say that our characters are trying to fight against that one single vampire.

Now coming to the characters

- MC (Minhoon) (white haired) (kin)

He was just a normal human until he got bit by his friend of 15 years while he was drunk in the beginning of the story (without any idea that his friend was a vampire or vampires even exists). But after coming to know that his very friend was a vampire all along and now has turned him into a kin (half blood) as well, our MC went through many emotional breakdowns and eternal conflicts as this whole new world was exposed to him out of nowhere. But he hung in there as he was willing to go lengths for his closest friend (later, lover) and went through many trainings as well as he was gaining certain traits of a vampire which were bound to freak him out.
The most important fact 'bout him for the time being is - he turned his biggest weakness into his ultimate strength and learned to use his fragrance to "command" or put "domination" over vampires which is NOT an easy task to achieve as a kin (where he is supposed to be dominated and used as a mere food of vampires). 
He's the spark of revolution in the vampire world at this moment as he's the first ever Kin to run the Kin management system.

- MC 2 (Hyungwoo) (black haired) (vampire)

He is one of the two pure blooded vampires that's left in the world. He's often addressed as the "Young master" by other vampires as he's the eldest son of the royal vampire family that rules over the vampire society. Also the very vampire who bit our MC and turned him into a kin unintentionally though he had feelings for the MC for 15 years and intended to hide it all his immortal life.     
Hyungwoo was always very different from other vampires since his childhood who gradually came to despise the ruthless violent vampires around him who would treat their kins as animals and kill them like insects, specially his father (the head of the royal family). He might've been the most "humane" and sane one in the royal family who wanted to value human lives and hated this kin management system to the core. But due to one traumatic event in his teen life where his 1st ever kin was ruthlessly murdered by his own father, the very young and innocent boy's sanity broke into pieces as he held himself responsible for his kin's death. He isolated himself while the guilt ate him away bit by bit each day and he refused to take another kin in. His life took a turn when his younger brother was born and gradually they became real close as they grew up and naturally Hyungwoo thought his brother would be just like him. But finding out his younger brother was no different from his father and treats kins as dirt as well, he went through a tormenting emotional breakdown again and ran away from the toxic royal family.  

- The head of the royal family (CEO) (violet hair) (vampire)

Hyungwoo's father, the other pure blood vampire. The very root of all the problems that has been going on in the story. He wants his son (Hyungwoo, the only pure blood hair of him) back to the family and work for him where Hyungwoo refuses to do so when he hates the system and his father to death. Though Hyungwoo ran away from the family when he was only a teen (300 years ago), his father has always been keeping an eye on him and tailed him everywhere, waiting for Hyungwoo to choose another kin so that he could use the kin as a hostage and blackmail Hyungwoo to come back to the royal family.
Though Hyungwoo never intended to have another kin for his entire life after his first kin's death, he couldn’t help but fall for Minhoon and after 300 long years he made the mistake of making another kin. Not to mention the ceo got the news and came to the scene right away to make his moves but apparently Hyungwoo wasn't alone anymore.

- Daniel (light blue hair) (mixed blood)

Also addressed as the "Younger master", Hyungwoo's younger brother and the 2nd son of the royal family (almost looks the same as his father). He's a mixed blood as his mother was a human. Considering the environment he grew in also seeing his father and other vampire's treatment toward kins, it was actually natural for him to become like his father and considering murdering kins as a normal thing to do. The naive kid learned what he saw and picked up every other vampire's habits and stereotypical point of views toward humans. But tbh, he never was a bad person in the heart. He genuinely looked up to his brother and cared for him, just never could understand Hyungwoo's standards. 300 years ago when he unconsciously triggered Hyungwoo with his cliche toxicated "vampire" like attitude, Hyungwoo finally escaped  from the family. But decades later, now, thanks to Minhoon, his brother's kin, he's finally starting to realize Hyungwoo's feelings and his point of views bit by bit, and willing to support and help them out against their father.

- Edric (blonde haired) (vampire)

He was in charge of the Kin management system until Minhoon took that place. Also the person to spy on Hyungwoo during his escape and provide informations to the head of the royal family, Hyungwoo's father. But he is not a bad dude. He always had an ulterior motive behind all his actions to bring the head of the family down (though his actions were quite shady at times).

- Sungryul (purple hair, small eyes) (kin)

Edric's kin. Chief/manager of the company where Minhoon works as a designer. Really adores Minhoon and kinda acts like his mom. Helped Minhoon out a lot during his training session when he just newly became a kin. On the team against the head of the royal family.

- Gunchan (purple hair, doe eyes) (kin)

Minhoon and Hyungwoo's close friend and classmate. Was a normal human being with an amazing "don't care" type attitude until Hyungwoo's father took an interest into him and made him his kin. Gunchan has the most interesting attitude so far and not to mention how much of an important role he plays in the story. For some reason he doesn’t get much affected by vampire's fragrance so it's hard to dominate him unlike usual kins. Might be the only person who can change the Ceo and bring him down. He seems like a mere pawn in the story buy he'd probably play the checkmate in this game.
