I've read only first chapter, I don't know the story ahead.
But I want to say one thing, not a long time ago I was having same discussion with my friend that how it's not easy to be a parent for everyone. For example people think that having a married life, wealth and a child is everything but that's bot true.
No anyone can take care of child and on top of that at a very young age. I myself can't think of having a child and I am 21 and she's 22 with a son of 5 years old, she was never mentally prepared but I think maybe her family forced it on her. So I can never hate on her
I also felt a little sympathy towards her too. She was very young when she got married and had a child. She's also really outgoing and likes to be with people compared to being cooped in the mansion all the time.
She lost her freedom.
And the people around her kept saying that she just needs to take care of the child and nothing more.
She wasn't given an opportunity to do things she could excel because she is a 'mother'. Maybe that's why she diverted her frustration and disappointment to her child whom was still innocent- a child who just wants attention from his mom. Thus, neglecting him while growing up.
And when the time comes that she was on her death bed, she really regretted it.
It's mostly her fault that her relationship with her son was bad but it was also the pressure of being a mother and the responsibility of being a duchess (which was to take care and look after the heir) was put in front of her. She's actually very smart but no one in the mansion believed in her because she was a Visarilde, not that they hated the household but they wouldn't think that she was well educated and had the same education as any heirs would.
But this doesn't excuse the fact that she ultimately ignored the child.
I felt sympathy for her as a woman who doesn't want to be tied down by marriage or any responsibilities to hinder what I want to do but I disapprove and am very disappointed of her actions. She knows it too thus taking advantage of her return to the past to correct her actions.
