It still wouldn't be the same because once you "reborn" you become someone else completely. Although the soul is recycled the original Diana will be lost forever and someone new
This is why I think Diana couldn't completely move on, she knew once she is fully reincarnated she is gone forever.
It's interesting that the MC always tried to refer to herself or athy as another person when she got reincarnated into Athanasia's body as a baby. It took her some time to realise it wasn't "if I were the real athanasia", but that she IS athanasia and that her Korean self is gone. It's also hinted by Lucas that she was the Athanasia in the first timeline also.
Even how she refers to Claude changes as she integrates into her new life. He stops being "claude" and is referred to as "dad" or "daddy".
