oh you'll regret this so bad geum dan HAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAAHA
wtf this manhwa is so underrated like i actually like this than the mainstream angst/revenge manhwa recs i see on tiktok. i get my recs from tiktok and i have never encountered anyone who recommended this manhwa ever. had to discover it from a random list here in mangago
i want more side stories but this time of them living happily; no anxiety looming beneath, which is probably not possible
ummm, would everyone even allow her grave to be nameless considering her standing in society??? also her son not knowing????
plot twist: sunggyeon or whatever her name is is actually posessed by the author who's crazy about the blond guy like some of the readers here lol
she had to die for him to come to that realization... that's a very expensive price for a measly realization. if this was real life, there'd be people who aren't completely allied with him that could have already made him realize that, esp because they both went to war. but idk the finer details on the author's mind so...
usually manhwas of this nature (and genre? lol) have this (tolerable, but still) cringy aspect that i find to them bc of how much they praise and glorify the main character, reinforced through those in between art that depicts them like a goddess, an angel, or whatever. even though as a reader, it's already clear that the main character is the heroine of the story and will succeed no matter what. i find that this manhwa has minimal of that and its so refreshing how i was able to read this smoothly without that feeling.
the duke of the north keeps regressing too for some reason so what if the four guardians family with the powers (important distinction bc the ex fiance doesnt seem to have any power) regress too every time lea dies.
i just finished reading all the chapters today and this manhwa is actually so refreshing. its nice to see a not so toxic dynamic between a dominant alpha and dominant omega. i've been wanting a manga like this between the two since forever T-T. and i like how the seme actually acts like a gangster! esp if it's his family's way of life since he was young. i even like the little details of his father not kicking up a fuss when ml beat up his brother, just went to buy a new table lol. i do wish we can see seonu and him interact more, like dote on your son-in-law or something like that. and i wanna see the baby and babies moreee
*sigh* you cant blame dae for not communicating properly too (and by that, i mean telling yoonwon that this ambiguous relationship is confusing him, etc). he likes yoonwon but at the same time owes him too much. the power dynamic between the two of them is getting in the way. he doesn't even open up unless yoonwon demands/commands/initiates it (gf misunderstanding previously). unlike previous instances when they were on relatively equal standing.
i actually like this omegaverse world. omegas can be buff like mc, and sexuality preferences do still matter, like how in later chapters it was stated same sex marriage is actually less than straight marriages, but its not bad or illegal, its just kinda rare (tho i think there are more gay ppl than straight ppl, but maybe its just the country i live in). a realistic but relatively positive take in an omegaverse world, and i know ppl are evil that the other negative takes have a high chance of being reality if ever omegaverse does become reality, but i just need chill worlds like this every now and then
dangg i kinda wanted wataru to not cry and takeichi not to call soma so that when wataru starts distancing himself, soma'd be like, panicky and stuff. i mean i love how he is not a jealous type of person but also its confusing if he really does like wataru. im also kinda wondering why author didnt show soma's pov when they already did once, just so we get soma's perspective yknow
im usually not one to get frustrated by naive, meek and weak ukes but the one in this one pissed me off so much that i thought he lowkey liked being a damsel in distress or making people worry over him (would honestly track w his fam/childhood trauma)
i've actually been looking for a manhwa and i've been preferring manhwas over mangas for a while now but... nobody does it better than mangas for me fr i love looove this one, the yearning and the angst... ugh <3 on the other hand, i didnt expect this rating and comment section. like i get it, miscommunication and misunderstanding trope can be annoying, but i think this one was understandable, justifiable, and done well? idk, maybe there's a cultural factor too. im asian so ig i understand both sides.
awww i actually liked the power dynamic reversal but it didnt last long (。ŏ﹏ŏ)
