When I first read this I'm like, cuuuute (idk, maybe I wasn't in the mood to think). Now that I'm re-reading this, uke is annoying (throwing a long relationship away without even confirming or a proper talk, really?) and just reminds me why I hate non-confrontational people. In my opinion, uke should've suffered more from embarrassment or something, just from his mistake, bc its clear the wronged one here is the seme. also the way that friend tried to get the uke to read the manga in hopes of him knowing the truth was cringe and seems forced. bruh, just shout it out loud or speak without pauses and breathing, there you'll get the message out.
i agree from others saying this was just a decent read. personally, i just couldnt get into the story. it feels like the couple is still too stiff and formal with each other, which i was expecting to change given that the story was following their progression into lovers. idk, i also didnt feel chemistry. for me, theyre two puzzle pieces who dont fit
i luv everything abt the story... i think the pacing is great, and the author stated that they were worried abt the many characters and the overlapping goals of each but it was all executed so well! i luv that they added personal goals to each of the characters bc it def makes the story more realistic (aside from the slow burn romance hehe). i can definitely imagine or believe that in a world of royalty and nobility with that kind of cursed blood that this would exactly be the situation of those people. as a writer, imma put this story in my inspirations list.
goddd i need some spoilers. i think its easy to see that the ending will be a happy one, but i wanna know how every element in the story intertwines to achieve that. i have my hopes for the ending, like the king getting dethroned or something bc i hate him as much as i hate that trashy 4th princess. maybe the grand duke will support the crown princess? and the crown princess helps them in return? i alao hope theres a loott and a lot of lovey dovey moments between the duke and the duchess. i hope the author doesnt feed the readers scraps, but give us a whole damn feast. this is such a beautiful and well-executed story, i hope 2nd season up until the end can maintain that
who was the guy they met?
i reread it and was thinking maybe it was the other person that the ex was cheating with? bc seomin and him were close enough for seomin to call him, like, they have each other's phone number. but then, seomin called him jin in chaoter 8 while in chapter 12, the guy introduced himself as euntaek. his full name could be jin euntaek but i'm not 100% sure of that so i'm still confused
as much as i liked it, i hope theres no more additional chapters and this is the end END bc some manga like these still adds on to the story after it has "finished". like new conflicts and such and idk, the intention and vibes of being quick money grab-y just seeps out from the whole thing that i end up dropping the manga. would love some side chapters tho of fl living happily just to balance her being on edge the previous chapters.
she took the idol/modeling opportunity and is now cheating with kaori's boyfriend. also, she said she liked the guy but also told him not to break up with kaori so ????. i know this might be explained in the later chapters but i wanna know what everyone thinks.
this is what i'm thinking too right now haha. Like Mayo Nessa above has commented. If the guy broke up with the girl, Kaori would probably be like, "It's been fun, bye". But honestly, I'm not so sure given the flashback, it looks like she does have interest on him? Also giving her virginity as a third party in a relationship? And this was Japan? I guess that's what confuses me haha
i wanted it to continue until their death i wanted to see them grow old then die together peacefully, maybe while looking at the cherry blossoms in that park (i cant remember the name).
but fr tho, great story. my only issue is not the artstyle, but how the artist frames the panel like idk, in some parts the expressions could have been more obvious and impactful. also there are parts when i feel like the transition of the scene was off; made me wonder if i skipped some panels. dont know if this is the author's debut webtoon but if it is, its def giving off that vibes, and a really great debut project. if not then im just embarrassed.
