As someone who is team yahwi, I felt like jooin showed his worth. I don’t think he’s annoying for telling yahwi how he feels about this situation, even if it’s not someone we as team yahwi wanna hear but it’s true. Jooin was indeed hurt by yahwi’s actions and he’s facing the consequences. Yahwi is aware of this. Im glad they talked, this was much needed. Hopefully, Jooin and yahwi will be happy, wether is together or separately.

i actually think feng xin is better suited for he you. I feel like they both push each other and reassure each other enough that their dynamic feels more genuine and heart warming to me. i mean i like chi wu but he doesn’t really challenge or support he you in the same way. i see the two better off as friends :)

pulling trauma for a character straight out your ass to make them look redeemable is so overused. throughout this story there has been no hints he has been affected by the death of his parents until jooin left him. I'm so confused rn

They really threw trauma over here so we can feel sorry about Yahwi and FORGET ABOUT HIS DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR

Like, if you don't like this story, okay, just leave I like this manhwa and it's stressful to read hateful comments of people who don't even know how yaoi is or how a love triangle works.

Also, Jooin is not a weak character, he has told Yahwi to fuck off. He's just like a real person with a crush on someone mean, Yahwi used him, treat him bad, raped him and he did got tired and realized, he then fell in love with Cain (kinda) and is trying to forget about Yahwi, he's nice, he's strong and he's a good character, can't see why people are so hateful ugh

I feel like this story can be a bit misleading at first

Don't get me wrong I absolutely love this story, but I think it's understandable if some people drop it, because they expected the romantic aspect of this story much more than what it finally is.
The cover and the 1st chapters really give the vibes of a romantic story, with a unusual couple (soft guy x cool girl).
So it attracts people who like this type of dynamic of course.

However, I think that this story really SHOULD have the psychological tag.
There is a very slow burn romance, because the focus is really on the character's trauma, the complicated connexions they have (and not just Ml/Fl, but also with their friends) and the way they are really restrained by their past.

So no, Ml is not going to stop being scared and shy because of the power of love. The same goes for the Fl, seen as too cold by some people.
In my opinion the story is quite realistic in that way, and it really shows the impact of trauma on different characters, and these characters do not heal magically. We sometimes are annoyed because we wish the characters would act differently (like with more courage for Ml), but they don't because the story tries to give a realistic portrayal of characters with their own difficult past, and their flaws.

So yes there is romance, but for anyone who would like to start this story, I think you should know that this story is very much balanced between School life / Drama / psychological before romance.
And these aspects make the story have a slow rhythm. Before truly seeing the past of each character, we see the way they act on their everyday life.
So yes it's going to be long, because the author takes their time to really make the reader see the dysfonctional aspects of the main characters, and those aspects are essential because they hinder the development (also romantic) of the characters, which explains the slow burn romance.
So I think you must be a minimum interested in discovering the psychology of each character (And so their trauma) if you want to enjoy the romance, because the psychological / romantic aspects are completely linked in that story.

Basically :
Trauma in the past -> creates complex characters with a lot of flaws and paradox because of their past -> hinders the relationship between the different characters, and so very slow burn romance between our leads.

It doesn't mean the story is bad at all, but if you want to enjoy it, I don't think you will by imagining that this is a light cute romantic story, because it's not.

These were just some of my thoughts on this story, and why some people can be disappointed.

No matter what backstory abt yahwi was shown, i couldnt really like him at all

There’s nothing wrong with Yahwi having a redemption arc (even though he doesn’t deserve it.) but the “redemption” better not lead to him ending up with Jooin. They are not meant to be, redemption or not. Yahwi has hurt Jooin for basically no reason besides him using Jooin to fill a hole inside himself, due to his trauma. He can be a better person or whatever but that relationship shit is dead.

Looks like the author is going to give a clear point on who the ml is. Ngl I love Joseph he's perfect in every aspect but ever since he was introduced I always knew he will be the 2nd ml like their dynamics leans heavily on them being master x knight.
Joseph is a precious person to keira but whenever their relationship make a step forward it goes 2 step back on the said dynamics. On the other hand Erez being the ml makes more sense esp their dynamics/relationship from the start already progressed so much.

No, that is a twist.
I don't understand why everyone hate on Keira. I mean, she raised as someone who's stand beside human to be against demon. And she did get her life destroyed by said demon.
Of course the initial response to that information to be that devastated.

But still, I still smell SML on Joseph, and it was sad. He's my first fave SML.

Honestly both Keira and Erez do have a right feeling the way they do. I do agree Keira might reacted badly but I can't blame her she was indeed traumatized by Cossette and that finding out she's a demon first which unlock all the bad things then soon after he tells her he's one. Whole lot of emotions. But I hate the author for writing it like that for the sake of romance. We all know why the author wrote it like that. Kinda annoying she played it that way, but atleast Keira now realizes she overreacted and knowledge Erez is the one who's more hurt. And as others pointed out I'm also disappointed what the author did to Keira in the manhwa making her so kind of damsel depending on others way to much.

Read 107 glad Keira realized her mistake and now know he's the one who's more hurt. But I'm not even mad at Keira but at the author for making Keira like that. Keira in the novel accepted him because she's knows he's different from other demons. I hate the author for making Keira slightly xenophobic, real Keira would never act that why. This change caused so much hate on Keira I was more pissed at the author. All because they added freaking romance to a novel that wasn't in the romance genre. If y'all don't know it's obvious they is to lead to reconcile with the ML

I don’t understand y’all logic. Y’all are shitting on Jooin and calling him annoying and stupid for what? Cause he had standards and left Yawhi’s weird ass? Yahwi is going through all this stuff cause he treated someone he “loved” like a sex worker and only gave af about him when he was with someone else. He didn’t “shape up” until Cain showed up even after he promised Jooin he would. At this point Yahwi’s love is just obsession and holding onto something that was never there to begin with. He’s obsessed with Jooin because he actually liked him, but because he couldn’t treat him right Jooin left him. Yes Jooin never spelt out what he wanted from Yawhi but the shit he wanted were basic things anyone in a relationship would want. So just cause he didn’t make thing’s SUPER obvious for Yahwi doesn’t mean he deserved to basically be treated like a prostitute. And I know how you bitches like to tussle about this rape/sa thing but that shouldnt be ignored. And on top of that he fucking slapped Jooin for speaking his mind. Jooin has not once put his hands on Yahwi even when he deserved it (like when Yahwi pretty much blamed him for SA him) but I digress. And to top it all off Yahwi has been harassing Jooin since he broke up with him. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING has been done to Yahwi. All the shit he’s going through is because he wont leave Jooin tf alone like he asked

Seeing reactions on different platforms and it's weird. So I'm point out, yes the situations are different. But I noticed when Joseph beg Keira to let him help she rejected him due to her past life trauma of sacrifice and hurt his feeling but I didn't see no one blame her about it and "understood" her, but now it was Erez turn, he got his feelings her suddenly it's Keira fault, all the blame on her?? As if she wasn't traumatized by a demon in her first life, so of course her reaction was strong. It's like y'all completely threw y'all understanding out for one guy but not the other

I really don't like how the webtoon author is writing the story. It's so lackluster, how they changed it just for romance. Like it's okay to not have an endgame and focus of the true battle.

I'm team Joseph but I already see where this is going. I hate how the author played him in the beginning and showed us he sacrificed himself for Keira in the first tl because he loved her and even now in the current timeline only to make him 2nd ML. Was it really necessary? The reveal should've been in S2 so the fandom wouldn't be so intense with e/o

From this flashback, we got to see Joseph being the best boi he really want save and help Keira even from the past and present.

At this point i wouldnt care about her wanting to get revenge if she wants to, all i want for her at least is just to leave his dumbass father and be happy without any regrets. I hope the ML is the captain too they both seem very compatible

I used to not understand why this was under the comedy genre cause it wasn’t funny, but now I realize it’s fucking hilarious. In no other manhwa can two characters have literally no chemistry and still be considered a “couple”. And because of that lack of chemistry the author has to do something, soooo what better way to spark up some chemistry then by one of the characters being hit by a FUCKING CAR. This manhwa is just insane and that’s why it’s sooo funny
