Reading the first few comments I can see why Jooin gets so much more hate compared to a rapist and abusive character. Most of those here don't actually even read the story and are so fucking disgusting with your words.

This story might not be well written but it's a good story if you pay attention with the context that leads to the next scene and how it affects the characters to act a way. But you all only do surface level reading.

Jooin is so realistic with his thinking, not because it's logical but because of how he's Self sabotaging himself because he believes he nothings. Not deserving of love and afraid that his decision will lead to ruin.

Seeing how realistic and human Jooin is and how the creator's stayed with the love triangle were most of us still are unknown who ML is, that a real love triangle not knowing who endgame is so quickly. This is why it's good but also frustrating story because the creator's are actually doing a well job because it's supposed to frustrating with moment even the characters need to figure things themselves

Don't understand why people have a problem with reincarnation. We were literally introduce to it right when Cain showed up. It's a main plot within the story. We saw many parallels with it, even the the title corresponds to it, it has a dog leash in the logo, the cover has Cain in the leash by Jooin hand the previous banner had dog prints in the background. It's always been there.

Idk why so many are questioning it now. Many even ask what's up with the reincarnation story and when we finally get an answer it's suddenly "we don't care"?? It's part of the story you need to care when it's a big point that is shown to us since SEASON ONE

I see so many people shit talking Jooin, and hey Imma be honest I was upset with his decisions a lot of the time, but I understood from where he was standing. So unsure about the choices he makes really goes more into depth of his character and I love when we get to see the troubles of human nature. I'm rooting for Jooin and Cain, but whatever Jooin decides is best for him, that includes going solo, is the side I'm really on. Also a lot of y'all being real nasty and ugly about this story and the Author. If it gets people riled up, then I believe it's a wonderful story!

Ok. So, I decided to forget everything I've read of this story: chapters and its characters. To make a decision based solely on this one chapter (92).
We have Jooin, who blushed at the idea that Cain waited for him. I think he asked out of courtesy what he was thinking so hard about. It made me assume that if Cain had answered with a "nothing," perhaps Jooin would've told him his decision (for time and growth [like in "dangerous convenience store"]) but I could be wrong. Also, my heartache when Jooin said, "Just like mother said... time waits for no one." Because we first see this sign as him turning a new leaf and wanting for the other person to take action, thus we are shown Cain spooning Jooin in order for Jooin to fall asleep peacefully. Reminding us of a worried child who needed a comforted warmth of another to fall asleep. Then, we get a story about a conscious beast (wolf-dog) who one day met a human. Maybe it's only me, but when we were first introduced to Cain and his "I'm your dog" ideology I was off put. But after this chapter I can see how the beast grew attached and later on developed feelings for said human. If you think about it chimpanzees and dolphins are able to "developed feelings for humans" (articles and research based off). Anyways, if we get on the next couple of chapters Mong (Cain's wolf-dog's name) praying to the moon for reuniting with the scholar once again, I honestly wouldn't be surprised. Why? Because in this chapter we are shown that mates can be portrait as two best friends, two lovers or two lonely beings who wanted company. Also, because the scholar said the magical, cliché words: "if only you were human" (like in Master of Master.)

I believe Cain is telling the "sleeping" Jooin this story in order to let go of the past (just like "betrayal knows my name" bl.) He will go back: hopefully fix things with his family, do a career (note! Because he had said he only wanted to be with Jooin and nothing else mattered.) And if he's endgame, he will return not as a "I'm your dog" mindset but as a man who came to take what is his (if he still has a chance). Jooin, I applauded you for this chapter and hopefully the continuation of your story will be for the best.

also idk why some of you are holding Cain's past life against him... so what if he was a dog/wolf??? he's a person in this life!! their relationship may have started off due to the loyalty and affection of the past, but to me it's clear that now he loves Jooin for his present self. And as the HUMAN that he is now, he's very much the better choice. Thar being said, while I want Jooin to choose Cain so that I can see Cain get the happy ending he deserves.. I'm also sick of seeing him get hurt by Jooin and want this to end. Jooin is lowkey toxic and majorly self-sabotaging. He's hurting himself, and Cain in the process!

Regardless of how you think about Cain or Jooin, wouldn't it make sense for Jooin not to want Cain to abandon his ENTIRE LIFE becuase he loved him when he was a DOG? I would never want someone to abandon their family and restart their school/career JUST because they love me thats so fucking stupid. ESPECIALLY since Jooin isn't sure if he can return Cain feelings, that would just be even worse. Like thats not even blind love thats something only a child would think is okay to do. Like sure Cain is a "better" option but Jooin is thinking about his future

Idk but I really like how everything is portrayed. I like that the characters are so human and imperfect. Ik a lot of ppl were mad at the whole flashbacks and stuff only showing the "good part" of things but I really liked it cuz that's how it actually is. When you're in an abusive relationship where you're heavily dependent on the other person thats how you brain is wired. You're miserable and unhappy w them, but the moment you step away you can only think of the good times and go back to the starting point. I think portraying his memories in rose colored glasses makes the whole thing be more realistic. We all know the ex is a horrible person and that he treated the mc horribly and it's constantly shown how different the new bf is from him so I don't think they were meant to make the ex look more likable, it's just showing how things were from mc's pov. The mc has a lot of mental issues and is overly dependent on his partners, he makes mistakes and it's very frustrating. But this Is literally how it is irl...

I really do feel for the grey haired dude, really. His circumstances were really sad and it's easy to understand why it affects him the way it does HOWEVER, I feel like people don't understand how frustrating it is to deal with someone like that especially in a relationship. Going out of your way to make them feel validated, walking on egg shells, and being treated like a opprtunist who's just waiting to cheat is not fun. When it comes to people like the uke, once they have an idea in their head it's hard to change their mind. He already convinced himself that something more is going on, and while that is understandable because what happened in the past, it doesnt change the fact it's shitty for the other person. He needs to heal, grow and get help before he start's getting into relationships. His friend already warned Taewhan, even it's unintentional it doesn't change the fact that he has the protentional to be toxic. I'm sympathetic towards him but at the same time Taewhan shouldn't be the one to bare the weight of his insecurities.

I don't really like the uke, he's a brat and thinks he has the upper hand but actually doesn't then get humiliated mentally. Top, is okay for now, he looks like he has a better personality than the uke but both don't know the word called consent, I'm glad the bodyguard got saved, so far he the only one who is likable for now

Finally something normal in this chapter! Yeah people are finding it weird about Cain being dog in past life and all but Cain is really good guy. He decided to give up on his own feelings for Jooin. On other hand Yahwi is want force on Jooin bc of his obsession. If you ignore author's weridness about inserting past-life fantacy otherwise Cain is really good choice. He's sweet guy

This story has so much potential and the art is fantastic but so far everyone is trash with exception of the tiger like how do you like her for 10 years but have no qualms about humiliating her

hate how the knight was basically used and threw away quick the moment someone with more “powers” comes along. they would’ve been such a cute couple

when will authors realize that having a sad back story isnt character development

fucking knew that the ml wasnt the woodcutter or whatever tf he’s called if anything i thought it was the blondie since he couldve reincarnated as the mama fox’s kid since his mama was there at this death. plus that one sketchy mfer in the police department w ml that called the fl a fairy def has some relation with the evil spirit or is the evil spirit. i just feel bad for the male lead, having to put up with psychos because they thought he was the reincarnation of some dumb fuck no wonder they arent gods man, hope he gets his justice and peace he never deserved anything he went through. fl just tired of the bs and suffering she’s been going thru and it blaming her problems on her gender and some poor man as if a fucking deer didnt do allat she only remembered after the later chaps like hello,, that man u killed is long gone, find a way to get rid of that stinking deer instead of the man you already long killed bro

To me it almost feels like Yoosung is both scared to get involved with Joo Hyuk because of family pressure while simultaneously waiting for Joo-Hyuk to actually pursue him.

Since we are mostly in Joo Hyuks POV it seems like all the longing is coming from him but, unfortunately due to how others have treated him, he evidently feels inferior and undeserving of Yoosung. He doesn’t chase. He doesn’t explicitly say how he feels. He doesn’t put Yoosung in his place. He comes when he is called. He is justified in cutting off the relationship.

Meanwhile all the action is coming from Yoosung. He is used to get what he wants. He is used to people coming after him. He flirts. He calls. He pursues. He plays with him. He baits him and tried to make him jealous so that he will step forward, but he never does. I think the engagement brag was first of all a defense mechanism for rejection and secondly jealous baiting to get him to speak now or lose him.

Neither are handling the relationship the right way. Especially Yoosung. He’s acting like an F boy. I don’t know that I could go as far to say it’s abusive, but I would definitely say he is toxic.

I won’t stop reading though lol the art is good and the language used is so pretty.

Edit: Looks like Yoosung likes our mc but societal expectations, social pressure and his pride are getting in the way of it. He was obviously spitting bullshit about getting engaged and just didnt want to sound weak or something. Definetly a big assumption here based on pretty little evidence but i think im right.

Chi wu can be the ml, he just wont be fl's boyfriend.
I was surprised really, fl had all the reactions that normal shoujo fl would have when they fall in love. But then i realize some girls are just more sensitive and can blush in front of guys, especially guys that are interested in them.

Honestly, fengxin should be the endgame now. If the fl changes her mind, now that's when the story turns shitty.
