I wonder if we'll get more development with Sahara. So far, Sahara has been somewhat of a one-dimensional character. Suu and Hwaryun have had the most development so far (individually and in terms of "relationship"). I'm genuinely curious as to how the story will play out as I can't really see Suu ending up with anyone romantically. However, we already know that Suu has been independent and self-reliant his whole life, so it wouldn't make much sense for his character development to head in that direction. We can see that he has always yearned to love someone and be loved in return (regardless of what kind of love it is, he has received little of it in any form). So far Sahara has displayed blind devotion to Suu after supposedly "imprinting" on him. As of now, it seems that Suu doesn't really acknowledge Sahara. A few chapters back, when Suu felt that "nobody cared for him" when clearly Sahara was prepared to give his all for him, Suu only thought about Nadan and Hwaryun. I think this is because Suu was subconsciously thinking in terms of "romantic love" (even if his feelings for both of them were messed up at that point). It's clear that Suu has never seen Sahara as a romantic partner thus far in the story. This is completely understandable, seeing as how Sahara has been a literal child for the majority of the story. I could see the author developing their relationship more in season 3 with Sahara in his adult form, but at the same time it feels a little late to finally introduce him as a potential love interest. Suu's relationship with Hwaryun is even more complicated. Honestly, these two are the ones that threw me off the most. At first, I though that Hwaryun and Suu would both gradually develop feelings for each other and learn to trust each other. As the story went on, I thought "Oh I was right, this is what's happening". I was quite wrong. Suu and Hwaryun's relationship had been incredibly shallow from the start, and it didn't get much better. It's clear that both of the characters had some level of attraction to each other, but it ended there. They do not trust each other, and their end goal was to ultimately use each other. However, they are not the same in doing so. Suu never wanted to harm anyone. He wanted to get out of Rahan safely while doing the least possible amount of damage. Hwaryun, on the other hand, doesn't mind putting Suu in danger as long as he could save him in the end. I was reading back a while before, and in chapter 36 Suu tells Hwaryun that he's afraid of getting murdered. Hwaryun laughs, but then his face goes dark and says "I will save you, over and over again". Suu notices that he says "I'll save you" instead of "I'll protect you" but it gets brushed off. As you guys can see, this has happened multiple times in the story. Suu has been put in danger because of Hwaryun multiple times, but Hwaryun has always come to save him. This is also similar to when Hwaryun broke Suu's ankle and then had it treated and fixed. There's a lot more with Suu and Hwaryun but I'm pretty sure the rest of it is obvious and whatnot. As we all know, Hwaryun grew up in a bad environment and his outlook on the world is warped because of this. He probably genuinely thinks that he was doing the right thing by taking care of Suu and "saving him", even though he was the one who put him in danger first. I think that Hwaryun does have some genuine feelings for Suu, but these feelings aren't the most important thing to him. Suu and Hwaryun have a very toxic relationship right now, and I don't really want them to be a couple unless Hwaryun goes through some serious character development. I kind of have a feeling that Suu and Hwaryun are going to be endgame because that's how the author seems to have set it up. You can also see in the author's extra art that Suu and Hwaryun are always closer together than Suu and Sahara. Usually that indicates something. Anyways, regardless of who ends up with who, I'm completely hooked onto this story. I really didn't expect things to develop the way they did, and I'd love to see where this all goes.

Royalty and Dragon has a give & take relationship, Royalty needs tha Dragons power in exchange the Dragon feeds on the Royalty. For some reason the Dragon and Jins family is not on good terms and was cursed by the prev dragon (Saharas mom, i think) So Sahara can't feed directly on Jin so thats why they need a medium which as it happens, sahara chose Suu. Now Sahara mentioned before that to grow up as a real dragon,Suu and sahara needs to be one. Slowly these past chapters, thats what happened and I think was only delayed a bit coz each time Jin heals Suu he loses memories and I think kinda supressed it. Jin was still unsure if the Dragons loyalty was to him so to weaken him but not kill him he was putting his blood on the water thing underground, again, the dragon cant feed on him directly and it hurts him. When Suu made a deal with the consort, Jin thinks that his better of w/o the dragon and tries to kill him but Suu and sahara connection was already quite strong and wheb he dragged suu down, i think there it was complete. Now Suu needs life and Jin to feed.

Although Suu and Sahara are now one they are still seperate people and I think its just one life, they are totally connected now. They are like to halves of one person now. And as much as they don't trust Jin, they need him and Suu, confuses it with Love, and I really am not sure if it is or if its just the dragons influence. In jins part, he has a lot going on as well, the back story explains it a bit. He never really wanted anything and he mentioned that his prime objective is he does just not want others taking it. I hope I'm saying that right xD Jins a sad case of complicated childhood and life. Anyways, Suu and Sahara are hiding, coz I think theyre not sure yet what to do with all this. And I think the consort gave birth but with the Emperor dead, Sahara killed him btw, Jin is automatically Emperor as of now. That where raws end for now.:) Again this is all base on my own understanding of the story so far and looking not reading the raws

if suu really hates the crown prince WHY THE FUCK ISNT HE SHOWING HATRED TOWARDS HIM?! AND THEY'RE FUCKING EVEN AFTER THEY BETRAYED EACH OTHER PLENTY OF TIMES?! oh my god I am so fucking mad about the story line. GIVE SUU A BREAK! and why is the crown prince treating suu like shit if he really does have feelings for him wtf. I want suu to kill that damn prince and everyone who used him and live a happy life with that cute dragon. THE END. although suu can really be a pushover at times. I thought his character was supposed to have a strong mentality. why's he acting so soft now? ugh

I've read all chapters in a row and stayed up very very very late but DAMN ! I ain't complaining because it was worth it (▰˘◡˘▰)... I can't help myself but think this manga should be adapted in an anime or a series because the story is great and I really appreciate the fact that all the characters have flaws and aren't so perfect, which actually makes them even more likeable or more detestable.
Also I think everybody is going to die at the end.

HOWEVER (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ I DON'T WANT RICHARD TO END UP WITH BUCKINGHAM !!!!!! sorry but I can't stand seeing them together...
┗( T﹏T )┛Poor Catesby, he doesn't deserve that much pain... Nor Anne, my girl !
Also, this scene in the Tower between Richard and Henry(/TДT)/ it was absolutely heart-breaking... like, they were about to accept each other until Henry went crazy because of THIS FREAKIN' MAMA !!!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
(Henry is also very fragile).
Can we talk about Edward Lancaster's death ? ┗( T﹏T )┛I was sad because I was starting to like this character...

I've foolishly read this all in the span of 1 1/2 night and-
I'm sorry but it's so painful to see Buckingham with Richard, those intimate scenes between the two made me feel so ...idk wronged. I actually hate it lol. There's no romance or appeal in it for me, yea Buck's kinda hot but knowing Catesby's true feelings for Richard- I can't bring myself to enjoy the scenes. It feels empty.

It hurts to see Richard's obliviousness to his childhood friend's silenced love. Imagine how he must feel to see him sexually with Buck. I'm aching and I'm just a mere reader lol. I mean, Richard's rlly only with glasses bc he feels that he is the only one who wants him...ugh I just feel so sad. Every time Buck says he's the only one who understands him, I mentally roll my eyes. I really really hope for Catesby to become more assertive and stop hesitating (?) to become his "light" and more than a loyal retainer. Need more private interactions.

When Richard truly and finally becomes King, what's next? He's still going to feel unaccomplished even when he reaches that status, what he really needs is to be loved- and he couldn't achieve that with Henry. They say he's changed but I feel like he fell even deeper.
Idk why but I have this sinister, formidable feeling that Catesby's death is near. I honestly hope I'm wrong. Haven't seen the raws but if Catesby dies before professing his love, I don't know if I can take it.
Yeah ultimately just want a happy ending with R x C but I know this manga is gonna relish in screwing me over

You know, this is one of the best omegaverses out there.
Renji and Haru are a fated pair, they have loved each other from first sight. That is instincts and all, but you can tell how much Renji treasures Haru by the way that he threw everything away as well as knows Haru the best.

Eiji was there for so long, and supposedly “love” Haru. I believe that Haru in his eyes is pretty and was probably the first omega he met. They were all very young when they met after all. Plus, rather than love, it was possessiveness.

I guess you could say that likewise, Renji is very possessive in that way too. This whole time, even if Haru went into heat or had Renji remove his collar not ONCE did he take advantage of Haru. He didn’t manipulate him either, he told Haru everything like it was. “If you step through this door I’ll never let you go.” He kept reaffirming Haru’s decision to be with him. He was so anxious yet so eager to be with Haru. It’s more than just a fated pair, it’s true love.

Also, Eiji TECHNICALLY DID TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HARU. He used Haru’s loneliness and anxiety from being abandoned to coerce him into being in a relationship with him. He hid the letter and manipulated Haru into only looking at him. He did things horribly, he tied him down and made him feel like he was wanted yet not at the same time. He used his fiancé to breed jealousy into Haru’s being, making Haru’s ALREADY insecure self even more depressed.

I mean fuck for his whole life he has been abandoned and told he wasn’t worth shit just because he’s an omega, and Eiji took advantage of that big weakness in order to exploit Haru’ emotions for his own gain. He knew what he was doing, and only regretted it when Haru left him. You get what’s coming to you.

Do I hate Eiji? No. But I sure in hell hope he’s committed and loyal to his fiancé.

After the brothers flee the mansion with lida in vol 4. Nishiura goes inside the apartment and saves Norihiko who like the complete degenerate he is, stabs Nishiura with a knife and flees.
I think Sachiko calls for help and stops the fire, and finds an unconscious Nishimura with a stab wound.
The brothers and lida are at a hospital where lida tells the young master that the doctors found out that he was being raped repeatedly and then he suggests that they could go live with him in Tokyo.
Our cinnamon roll Ranzo suffered from burns and has both hands bandaged and is at his brother's side, all cute and uwu. Thats the end of the volume.

So by far this is how I understood the story:

We have Ikuro, Ranzo, Sachiko, and stupid Norihiko.

Ikuro our protagonist grew up neglected by his father and abused by his mother, his father was always spending his time in the "dungeon" where someone "like a mantis" or monster was kept being hidden; and his mother got sick in the head bc of that.

Fast forward in the present, mother died followed by the father. Now Ikuro discovers that "the monster" locked up in the hidden room behind their house is his older brother which he just found out he had one. This brother got everything in the inheritance left by their father (according to the will) and nothing was left for Ikuro.

Norihiko, this stupid fucker was a long time servant in the Tōma's house even before Ikuro was born. I don't know what's his deal but it seems like he also slept with Ikuro's mother before, and now he groomed Ikuro up to adulthood to be his "toilet" and plaything.

Norihiko basically manipulates Ikuro since Ikuro has somewhat experiences a not so happy childhood; traumatized by his mother so he is afraid of women, hates his family(and his brother more so), and he has daddy issues (like mental or something because of what he witnessed when he was a child).

So flashback to what really happened to Ranzō, so far what the story showed us was that Ranzō loved his brother Ikuro even before and that's the last memory he has before he went ill. He was choked to dead by Ikuro's mother (because of jealousy), but miraculously survived but his mentality remained as a child since then. He was unable to speak as he was locked up by the father after the incident (not sure if he was also molested by the father ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ ).
And for sure this is the reason why the father's will was to only give the inheritance to Ranzo and his children and nothing for Ikuro.

Now we are just waiting what will happen as Sachiko (Ikuro's arranged wife) decides to teach Ranzō to speak so he can aid Ikuro; bc as we can see Norihiko is basically ruining the Tōma family and having old boomers rape Ikuro and arrange everything in the company(not sure if he has grudges or what).

This is the first time that I was actually disgusted by the seme like dafuc dude just die and let Ikuro live happily ever after with Ranzō and Sachiko. #-.-)
2020-09-29 00:18 marked
I found myself thoroughly disgusted for most of the chapters. Norihiko is just such a piece of shit, that I wanted to literally cry every time he manipulated Ikuro and just did his snakey things. I hate him so much. The sex scenes were unbearable for me, I skipped them all.

That "caretaker" is also disgusting, trying to convince himself that he's altruistic when he's clearly not.

I don't even want to talk about the parents, because I would throw up all the way to Madagascar.

Since the first time Iida (Ikuro's university classmate) appeared, I shipped them so hard. He seems like he would really try to cherish Ikuro and like a good guy overall.

Sachiko, my girl, my wife, my new icon. She's like a light in the darkness that this manga is, like a fresh breeze. I. Love. Her.

And lastly the brothers. Ranzo is so lovely, I'm uwued every time he speaks or even makes an appearance. Ikuro is no saint, but I empathize with his pain and his life experiences so I came to like him although I wish he stopped abusing my baby Ranzo already, and apologized and made up to him.

What I like of this manga is that it explores issues that make me uncomfortable but that instill in me new thoughts and make me happy that I still have morals. I don't know if I'm making sense at this point, it's 2 a.m where I live and English isn't my first language.

Well, rant's over. ( ̄へ ̄)

read the raws but can't read the language but, spoilers below...

Listed just major events to simplify it.
1. The caretaker attacks the wife in a mask, though she's thankfully saved.
2. Butler has the other caretaker rape the MC.
3. The disabled brother saves his brother from fire in the house, runs away carrying him. The butler kinda has a moment of realization and just lets it happen as the fire forms a barrier between them. The butler is last seen stuck in the room as its engulfed in flames as the MC screams out for him while reluctantly being carried away by his half brother.

So my take away from all this is that, either the MC became suicidal towards the end, setting that damn room on fire and accepting the twisted love the butler had for him (they have sex as the room is partly on fire). But was saved by his brother in the end. Ironically the disabled brother saved him from the very barred room he was confined to all those years.

Either the butler realized he was wrong in the end (or that it was just futile to keep the siblings apart) and let them leave, or he couldn't because of the fire. But idk, he's either dead now or badly burned at the very least.

Note: The MC doesn'

It's so dark, twisted and heart breaking. I do not accept rape, or any kind of physical and psychological abuse in real life, but since it's just a fiction story, I can't help but like the story. So well plotted, and intriguing, sad, and yet fascinating, captures the forbidden and darkest wishes each character harbors, this mangaka is scary lmao. I kinda had a hunch the butler was gonna end up insane, but holy shit that escalated so fast lol loving it, cant wait to see what role the college old friend is gonna play in all this mess...
