I really loved this story and I relate to it in a lot of ways *cough* feeling like giving up on finding any sort of relationship bc it's so difficult when you're gay *cough* but I agree with the other comments about how he didn't have to tell his coworker why he didn't want to date her. I hate how people think that you need a reason as to why you are rejecting someone but you should just be allowed to reject someone without explaining why. I've been asked out by men and they always feel the need to ask me why they got rejected. Even if I wasn't a lesbian and was still single maybe I would simply just NOT BE INTERESTED. Just because someone is single doesn't mean they're obligated to try and go out with you.
