I'm so glad Sangwoo's backstory is giving us a quality explanation for why he is the way he is. Sometimes, backstory arcs really make me want to choke myself b/c they're so boring and predictable. While there are things we've glimpsed previously, we get to see that it was really his mother that manipulated and hurt him more than anyone. We had this generic image of an abusive father and a woman who did no wrong and couldn't defend herself and it's so nice that that wasn't necessarily the case.
