Of course, if someone likes you you have to like them back, right? You must reciprocate their feeling no matter what because it's only fair that way, right? I don't think that's what op was trying to say at all. More on the lines of Taku has actually fallen in love with Haesoo, while Haesoo obviously has stronger feelings for Jowoon and it's painful.
That doesn't mean that Haesoo needs to force himself to fall in love with Taku, more like, he needs to let him go.
