As a girl who reads a wide range of manhwa and is also into finance (I enjoy reading Bloomberg and listening to reports) this series was honestly so refreshing, in most manhwa the fl or love interest would be inserted into every scene and they’d then have to spiral into nonsense because “this scene would be better with fan service” and while I love fan service when it’s not well integrated it doesn’t help the plot, and with this manhwa the love interest isn’t needed in the plot so they don’t add her which is nice, and the aunt got on my nerves earlier in the manhwa but they didn’t make her a one dimensional character who just wanted to make people suffer instead she has reasons why she does what she does and while I may not agree with some of them I was shocked at how they made her realistic in this story and have to learn she was wrong
I also love the plot as a whole it’s kind of like ‘succession’ but with ‘industry’ plot progression in that the inheritance battle is part of the plot with a lot of takeaways like being ruthless and the story is an uphill battle with a string of motivations

Queen I think you drop this .
Also absolutely agree, there are tons of good manhwa but because of the female lead or the unnecessary harem collecting *shivers in disgust*, I usually stop and just drop them because the fl is annoying, is literally just ruining the storyline, or keeps sabotaging the ml

I would’ve liked to see the contents of the show they made before putting that one guy in tacky ch*nel and saying he’s a star . The protagonist is focused on all the wrong things this is like king of drama but without the funny moments, without the characters that aren’t 1 dimensional, without tasteful romance (the protag basically becomes a fan of semi and doesn’t know her life struggles, anything truely personality wise before he thinks she’s meant for him) and without giving us true reason to think the protagonist is a someone we should truely root for
It’s so crazy how Anya resolved all of that without a big fight for once!!
