In the beginning, I didn't have much trust in this story , so I procrastinated again and again the moment of reading it. It turns out I was wrong. Such an intelligent pattern. The love story is romantic and all, but the social issues are the real focus, here. I must say, like sometimes happens with manga, manhwa, comics in general… this is a smarter kind of plot than many movies will show. I'm happy I took the time to read it.
I couldn't believe my eyes reading an explanation of what visual kei is, than I re-adjusted my brain on reality and ok, that's fine, many people won't know it. Well, no, wait… some people… few people… very few people, c'mon... well… ok, some people won't know it.

But I couldn't believe again when I read DIR EN GREY enlisted as VK. Although they are one of the most popular acts Japan ever had, and of course they did star as VK, they have done so much to convince people they are not but they will forever be enlisted as such.
My Diru (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ… they are not VK, really. I mean, I say this out of loyalty even though any time I watch Kyo, or Shinya, or Totchi, or Die, or Kaoru for the sake of it, I can't really convince myself about the pureness of their own conviction, but you know fans, right? … So, really: they deny they are VK. And the fact that a large part of the contemporary VK scene imitates them proves nothing (ah-ehm).
This comment does by no means disrespect the translators' work , which I swear I respect enormously for the effort they put into offering us the possibility to read the story (I suppose the note is theirs). Thanks for your hard work! It was a very interesting story, even though I'm not sure I was committed to it to the very end. It was impressive to see so many updates in such a short time! Great job.
[….but they do look more VK then Luna Sea or X Japan do nowadays… anyway!… listen to them and that's all from me]
They were pretty visual kei back in the 90s.
May I live a thousand years, I'll never - ever - understand how on earth Asami didn't choose Feilong. He must be crazy. Blind. Stupid. Completely insane.
On the other side, I dislike him, I didn't really wanted them together, I just wanted to see Fei to kick his arrogant ass.
Fei ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Blind for real, mon petit.
I dont blame you... But Feilong said in the novel that probably Asami didn't choose him because Asami always wanted someone far away from his world and Feilong is the head of the Baishe. Even Asami said he has his own personal tastes. Dont misunderstand me I love those three characters and everyone can have their but it's kinda sad to see many fans hating Asami for not being with Fei :(
to undestand why asami didn't choose fei sama , simple thing to do compare fei with aki , coz akihito is what asami needs what asami wants ... ! imagine it like two pieces of puzzle , humain search what he lacks ! for asami he have every thing but staying in a dark for too long he wants a light, it means akihito in japanese.
This is one big, smelly pile of sour grapes right here.
According to summary of the novel that came out earlier this year, Asami did not want the love of anybody until Akihito, who is the only light in his dark world. Some people fall in love every 5 minutes, it took Asami 35 years to find his love. Although Fei Long is beautiful, powerful and strong, he is still from the dark world. That's just my opinion.
everone is arrogant ass in their life as like u!
Wow, even a couple of aggressive replies? (my favorite, btw). It's worse than insulting the Pope, uh.
Just to set the record straight, I don't dislike Asami for not being with Fei, I just dislike him. I absolutely adore Yamane Ayano's drawing style, but I don't like Asami at all and never did, and almost certainly I would have stopped reading it after a few chapter if not for Feilong.
I think it would have made no difference for the world, so chill out :) people are entitled to have ideas as they read. The story, any kind of story, belongs to the author and no one else. It's not important if a single reader does not worship Asami who is, btw, a complete asshole, in case you didn't notice… I can't believe there are people "in love" with that kind of character. A character does not need to be "good" to be a great one. He's a great character but not necessarily meant for being loved.
Thanks to those of you who explained the reason why they didn't end up together, which are, again, predictable to me. Since the reason why I love it is the way it is drawn I think I would'n invest time on a novel, but it's nice if others with different attitude will read it.
So by this, we can only assume that you feel Asami should have chosen Fei because Fei is his equal in assholery. Good to know. Also good to know that people should not be in love with assholes like these two. Duly noted.
Yes, I quite agree with you.
But then, let's see if Asami is really blind and stupid. Maybe he's just crazy. It's another kind of craziness we haven't realized yet.╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
That was pathetic. What happened to sensei? She used to create tough plots. What was that teenager rant there? Keiichi is not 12 years old.
And I hoped so much for a development about his and Jin's past, something telling us why he is the way he is. I hope we won't have to read a bunch of fluffy stuff going nowhere. Sad.
If you allow me I'll share my thougths on what you said (and if you don't, you can tell me "I don't allow it" and I think I can erase my words ( ̄∇ ̄") I think there's a way here on mangago)
"I hope we won't have to read a bunch of fluffy stuff going nowhere. Sad."

I read in Sensei's blog (well whatever google translate allowed me to understand plus the little thing VEERY little thing about japanese I know) that she wanted to write them (Shingo and Kei) in very mundane and domestics situations, like the past drama between them was necessary for them to be in the actual stage of their relationship and how they improved to be in said stage. So, yeah maybe this volume, regarding with more explanation about their past (specially Kei and Jin) would not fill your expectations.
You mentioned that you want to know more about their past (specially Kagami brothers) IMO I think Sensei didn't want it to develop that much that side of their story. I think that the hints that she threw in one volume or two (the nyan-nyan book http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kuroneko_to_kareshi_to_ouji/uu/kuroneko_to_kareshi_to_ouji-chapter-2.1/1/ was more "detailed" about why Kei is the way he is and how Shingo's manners made him completly interested in him) was only the necessary ones to explain why they're acting the way they are in the present and how some things of their past justify their actions in all the series. I repeat IMO... tho I understand a little your dissapointment (I feel it every time a new chapter of Ten Count came out I'm like WHERE THIS IS GOING AND WHAT HAPPENED, but what can you do? Is their story and that's how they want it to write it, even tho you think that it can be a lot better but that's very subjective anyway)
I have no intentions in say to you how to read a story...just share my opinion ヾ(☆▽☆)
Also, I do really want to read a new story from Sensei (it's hard to tell because I love these two so much). But I also think that it's hard for her to say goodbye to these two. Maybe after this volume, she can officially say goodbye and move on...
Why should I ever ask you to erase your answer? Which was, btw, very polite. But even in case it wasn't, I would never ban anyone. I do believe in the right (and the power) of debate. Especially when it is a mutually respectful one.
As for me, I do not have any particular expectation when I read a story, because I always want the author to be in control, and from this point of view the first times I was around this community I felt a little… unbalanced. I do not understand how people get so angry over the author's decision. If you don't like something, just leave it! I abandoned Killing Stalking after a few chapter, without feeling compelled to insult the author nor the readers. It wasn't for me.
I just find a little… pathetic the way sensei is portraying them in the end, especially when it comes to a fully grown-up man that feels the urge to mortify a child and, of all children, his own nephew because he's possessive. In the past, I thought these were signs of anticipation of a deeper sight into their life, but actually, after years with her, I'm starting to think she's not the best writer in the world. She has great ideas, she draws as no one else can do for me, but she lacks something when it comes to developing stories. That's perfectly fine, the only regret I have about her is that her works do not exist in my native language, or I'd collect them all.
About Ten Count: I sooo understand what you mean. I think the way some stories are developed might depend more on the editor than on the author, but who knows.
As for me, I would love sensei to write about Shingo forever, as long as he is still recognizable as Shingo. i know it won't happen.
Thanks for your comment (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
