beautiful craft, original and well structured. The plot it's a subtle masterpiece being Twilight with a real plot - that must have been hard. And somehow so realistic, and sad, like real life, where things just go wrong. Those last pages were powerful.
I really like it - cant wait for the following chapters. Thanks to the translation staff!

Ok, Ok, I know that whatever we read it's NOT from Karino's point of view and any word spit from his mouth to his brother or whoever else might be false in order to preserve his image and blah blah blah. But, do his fans still believe he somehow "loves" Azusa? He blatantly denies everything (again)… Azusa's reaction is spectacular. A guy with a clear mind! I feel like the story is loosing grip after such a long time, like, whoever really cares at this point whether they'll "love" each other or not?…Tatsumi and Senzaki have become more real, but without the original potential Karino and Azusa had. I appreciate a well-built pattern but this is too much, it adds absolutely nothing to the main line. Does Karino love Azusa? Well, who cares, at this point.

I honestly don't know how Karino feels--and I never have. I think what this chapter adds is more about the game within the game (the school versus the real world) and how Tatsumni is always wearing one mask or another. Karion, too, seems to have masks. Both Asuza and Senzaki seem too be more genuine--but that could just be my impression.
I really liked the panel where Asuza scoffs at Tatsumi for not being able to live outside his privileged role in the real world.
As for love, well, it is yaoi so I understand why you both wanted to know about that and why you got sick of it. I have to admit that when the story gets back to the main couple, I will care. I still would like to believe Karino has feelings deep down that he will neve express, but I really need to see something in the way of caring or thoughtful actions towards--which has only happened once in my mind so far.

my hypothesis: narratively speaking we should see Senzaki's reaction on the next chapter. Have a blast, for once. I so want to see something happen. At the same time, if she dilute the story Azusa/Karino again, people might forget forever about them (and she's supposed to know this). So… she might write about new character again (I'm joking, of course). It's like she going in circles around and around and around, but bating around the bush forever becomes boring after a while. A frontal conflict between Karino and Senzaki might be interesting and helpful to understand Karino, because if she keeps him up in the air forever he will definitely loose his attractive aura… we need to understand something more about them.
About Karino's thoughtful actions towards Azusa… well. It would be interesting to see, but it would require a lot of previous character-development. I believe, too, they'll probably end "in love" because it's a yaoi, but for no other reason. If the author will be very brave (I think we once agreed she is)… they won't. Who believe that, they will 101% end all lovey-dovey (with some fists in it to spice the thing up).

"So… she might write about new character again (I'm joking, of course)"
NOOO,really nooooooooo. If that happens I'm done, seriously. xDxD
Now back to the main topic, when I first started this manga I always thought Karino would change and things like that, but the fact that he doesn't really surprised me. It makes him "real" in a way, because in the end that's who he is. A rich, egoistic, sadistic, machiavellic individual. How could he change? In the end it's school, not the real society where he lives. After he graduates everything will end,so why should he let his guard down? It actually happened in chap3 where he kissed azusa, but nothing after that. He enjoys it, likes azusa but it's not serious, yet. After graduation they can't be together, even Azusa wouldn't want to be in a relationship with no future. The son of a minister(who will probably enter politics) would get serious with the son of a prostitute? Well,I hope he does(cuz I love them) .....but it's hard.
Btw,is it me or is Karino jealous of Tatsumi. Maybe he doesn't like the fact that he is a top student, always well-behaved.It feels like there is competition.

There is...something...between Karino and Tatsumi. Tatsumi has obvious reasons to be jealous of Karino, but I think Karino kind of looks down and Tatsumi. Because Karino is so S and Tatsumi such an M, I briefly wondered if there was ever and attraction between them. I know it's incest, but this is yaoi. Don't worry--I don't think the couples will change.

well… of course everyone here (me included) wants to see them together and, being a manga, I even feel allowed to contemporary desire to see Karino smashed to the bones. Two different endings, why not. More realistically, they 1) will simply end loving each other because that's yaoi logic and stop, and who does not agree is officially declared being in the wrong place at the wrong time 2) will kill each other…no, I'm just dreaming. Your observations are extremely realistic, but there is no reality involved here and we know it well. Otherwise Azusa would have never started developing something for his brutal rapist out of the blue.
In my opinion, we really run the risk of discovering that Karino always cared for Azusa, but his family situation forced him into being the complete asshole he is. And at that point, Azusa will fall in his arms. No, wait, this is an horror b-movie scene.
Let me dream about Karino covered in his own blood.
What I DO NOT want to see is Senzaki turned into a pathetic psycho maniac in order to make Karino look cool again in comparison, but that's what will probably happen.
About Tatsumi… uhmm, my guess is that Karino does not like to have a bastard in his family, and that's it. On one hand, it's easier for him to have a strong personality because he's the legitimate son, but on the other he has it tough, since he always has to be up to the expectations. Tatsumi is an honor-student but Karino is also highly intelligent. He's just not interested in something as trivial as proving himself a good boy. What he's doing here, is a dress rehearsal for his political career. And Tatsumi is potentially a source of embarrassment. And let's not forget that, beloved or not, he's his brother, so he "belongs" to him, and no one else has the right to come in between, but it's not affection, it's just a form of possession. Karino rules the world, or would like to.
Senzaki... please.

that's true, but I love it when fantasy is mixed with realism. I don't think Chise will ruin Senzaki's character she seems very careful. I guess he will have his happy ending, twisted as it may be. Though,I still want him to work as Karino's bodyguard, that way everyone is happy XDXD I have the roles for them,Senzaki is the bodyguard,Tatsumi is the secretary,Azusa is the mistress, what could go wrong? x''D

That's probably what will happen. Here is what I would wish for them, however:
Karino tells his dad that what he really wants to do is dance...just kidding, he becomes a politician, but he does it his way, and does not follow whatever Davros had planned. Azusa models enough to pay for university and gets a PI licence. He becomes a street tough PI, and reluctantly helps the helpless...for a fee. They are a couple but each refuses to live with the other and they fight a lot.
Tatsumi becomes a news anchor and TV personality, Senzaki is his main informant and source (and a criminal boss). They live together and plan to marry if Japan ever starts to accept gay marriage. Senzaki says it's just a piece of paper anyway and laughs, but Tatsumi wants it--and Senzaki would do anything for Tatsumi. Politicians who oppose gay marriage start to disappear.
Atsuma studies psychology in university and opens a community centre to provide teens with activities that promote character and fight bullying. Kuze works for Karino and makes finance contributions to the center, but can't come within 500 feet of Atsuma because of the restraining order.
The cute cosplay couple becomes famouse actors and do benefits for Atsuma's center.

LOL! Oh my God.

I bet that karino is a 1st collecter of asuza's photos ! his classmate said that karino wasn't able to hide his feelings anymore, that's why he decided to become the king and monopolize asuza since the king's word is law ! so i think karino take this last chance to fulfill his desires ; he can't confess his love. I will let you imagine asuza's reaction ! hahahaha! A child of prostitute reject the son of Minister with the meanest way!!!! wow a really tough loss to take. that's why karino must put a mask to not reveal his genuine feelings ! it's not a spoiler it's just my point of view. happy Holidays anoni grrl .

Hi Responce! I often thought it was Karino who bought the photos too. I also suspected that Karino decided what information photographer boy would give Azusa. It seems to me the photographer left a lot out. That school needs to get the Internet or something. Anyway, I do think it's obvious that Karino has a thing for Azusa (I mean an attraction) as well resenting Azusa for how Azusa treated him, and some think this is a full blow love-hate deal, but I honestly don't know if I see such extremes.

Yep, Karino probably has a collection of Azusa's photos
Anyway , can you imagine how bad azusa would feel if Karino finds out about his home life? That would be too much, and maybe it is a turning point(but it probably won't happen).... Anyway, I love the fact that Azusa despite everything is the uke with most dignity. And I like that Karino wants a strong uke.

I think it's pretty clear there's attraction from the beginning between them. Probably Karino was the most interested one, but even Azusa felt it. Not love, just a mutual attraction. But Karino should take some lesson about being a gentleman, just a thing or two. Maybe that's why he did it. He might have shown who he was (personality and social status), conquering Azusa's heart for real. But then, in which world would they have lived together?…Karino might detest himself for this, so he tried to destroy his own feelings trashing the object of his love. Now I'm having a sadistic fantasy on them committing suicide together. That wold be something.

I"m telling you to the extremes !!! karino life is already all planned , after high school he must say goodbye to his freedom and enter his boring futur life ! he really loves asuza loot at this page http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/caste_heaven/bt/262499/Ch3/31/ asuza lost control and some of his inner emotion emerged http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/caste_heaven/bt/262499/Ch3/31/ and here hahaha http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/caste_heaven/bt/262499/Ch3/32/ asuza was suprised and karino was more shocked than asuza !!! he masked his feeling with a lame excuse : it's fun ! asuza believed him , but not me ! like always I observe the smallest details ;p (if VF fans are here they will kill me Σ(っ°Д °;)っ hahahaha) !

you're so right. In the past I expressed the violent wish of seeing Karino dead, but I lost hope. I can't shake off the sensation this will end with Azusa admitting he loves Karino, and there I will think sensei just did it because of the bad pressure. I know, I know. She's smart and brave, but she's really avoiding the main plot too much. This makes me feel like she knows an "happy ending" (it's not really like they'll ever be the romantic kind, of course) will be more appreciated than a harsh finale. We'll see, I hope in this lifetime. Almost, after all this time I can accept their "love", let's call it like that. It would be interesting if, for once, a mangaka would distinguish between being emotionally exhausted and being affectionate to someone. How would the readers react?...

Jin, I do love you, but you and that lover of yours raised up the WORST behaved child ever!
THANK YOU to the translation staff, great job as always. Get ready for us to make you go numb after september 14… we love you! Thank you for all your time and effort to allow all of us to enjoy this beautiful story! I'm so happy I read this (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Do u have something against rio? I think you are behaving worst than the adorable kid

Sorry, I do find him adorable too (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ (you know, tail and all the rest), but Jin's line was really too much: c'mon, he's the most spoiled child ever!! I forgive Jin because I think he had a sad childhood, but clearly the reason Rio does not "love" Takamizawa is because he's the only one who tries to give him a real education! Even Keiichi is not exactly a real "gentleman" to me...

For my own tastes "cute" is on the inside not the outside. I don't care how fluffy his ears are or how long his tail is he's every spoiled little rich brat that when he doesn't get his way he just cries and everyone falls all over themselves to give him exactly what he wants. I want to slap him across his stupid little face and tell him to SHUT THE HELL UP.

Lol. I misread "body" for "book"
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/shinpu_sama_no_kyuuketsuki/mf/v02/c008/2/
so I thought "uhm, his body is upside down? Well…he's a vampire so… ok, he's a bat in the end, he should be sleeping hanging upside down from a ceiling" although, let's admit it, twilight devastated the collective imaginary, this is a vampire walking in plain daylight so why on earth should he be sleeping hanging from somewhere… in fact, it's just the book that is upside down ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ what a sad world!

After all it seems like Shingo's always the sassy one, Kei is the same old prick, Yujin is adorable, Ei is classy from the head to his feet, Rio ist he loveliest of them all (what about Keiichi's nevrotic attitude toward his own nephew, I don't understand, the child is so so so lovely). Now I am afraid; think if something should happen to Ei and Jin, they would suddenly become "parents". Although I think Shingo (un)consciously(?) want Rio as his own baby, I don't want anything bad to happen to my Jin. What are they gonna do for five days away? besides making love, I mean. Thank you sooo much for translating!!

Really. I adore her drawings, they are just perfect to me, but sometimes it wouldn't be bad to find a remote sense in the plot-line. Almost, I finally have the clue I wanted about time-line. Since Enmani 2 is going to be shot, it means this story happens before Keiichi and Shingo meet each other (do you remember?….In the first chapter, Masayan told Shingo they were gonna shoot a sequel for Enmani) and this makes some sense (I couldn't bear with Kei being so silly around Shiou when he was in love with Shingo. Kei, before Shingo you were running for aids, weren't you, bitchy cat). She creates a great expectation with a bunch of interesting elements and then, in the end, there's nothing. I love her love her love her but, still.
nooooooo what a bad surprise for a monday morning. My adored little Claude can't be gone so soon...
