Can someone explain the ending
Kinda get the gist of it but I'm not sure if my interpretation is right....
Especially the finger pls....
Alex loves Clark and became a yandere (he wants Clark's attention for him only) when he went to the doc's house, he saw a picture of the doctor wearing the same ring as Clark's (the one Alex took from him). When the doctor died, his ring finger was cut --this was a message from Alex to Clark indicating that he's the one who killed the doctor.
For the ending, it showed Clark alone unwrapping something, i think that is the knife he used to kill Alex and eventually killing himself also using the same knife
From how I interpreted it is that Clark was able to get the finger back from Alex’s place but we don’t specifically know/see how, the creator didn’t put a scene of him finding the finger in Alex’s place so that’s just something we, the readers have to imagine for ourselves.
And as for the ending it’s very sad ending. He lost the man he genuinely loved to a sociopath who he had high expectations for but ended up disappointing him to the very end.
Risking his life and having the man he love die due to his arrogance and his side hobby (analyzing murderers) he’s now alone. The only thing he can do now is feed the fish (the last remaining thing that reminds him of the Doctor), look at the finger of his ex he still held a torch for, and live with this guilt for the rest of his life.
Well that’s how i interpreted it :’) Hope this helped.
I was reading this back when I was still a college student but decided to drop it because got tired of waiting for updates. After finding out that it was finished, still I did not read it because I wasnt ready yet. Then yesterday morning had the courage to read this from the very beginning. Just finished it at 1AM in the morning... after so many years...
I kept asking myself "What the fuck was that?" My tiny little brain cant fathom what just happened. Is this the closure I wanted???
I feel sad for Sangwoo. He didnt deserve that in my opinion. He could have had a happy ending only if he didnt have that misunderstanding about yoon bum trying to kill him. He wasnt born a murderer he just grew up in an unfortunate life. He loved yoon bum.....
Ohhhh men sorry for this long comment I just need to let this out. It's now 2am cant sleep.... Need to fully digest what just happened before sleeping.... cuz this bitch's going cray cray
After rereading this, I've come to appreciate Kisun and Jinhan more. I like how Jinhan's character shifted from a matured and dependable sunbae to a spoiled brat and tantum-throwing lover after being with Kisun. Maybe because his mother did not have time for him that's why he was forced to mature early and now that he's in a loving relationship he wants to experience being spoiled. I also find it sweet how Kisun goes along with his whims.
Don't mind if I do!!!!
