Tbh it’s going 100% heroic adventure route. With intricate storyline, like dungeon exploration, unlocking secrets, doing missions and etc. almost forgot it’s a BL lol. Feel like I should just leave and let it cook.

Dropped at ch 23. The mc doesn’t have any personality. He just shows up and does some actions. No emotions. Even though author tries to present him as cool it comes out as rather bland. Plot seems good. But poorly set up.
Note to self! I’ve read it till ch87 scrolled through last chapters. And i hate the main couple. Mc is manipulative obsessive, he sees right through MC and plays with his feelings. Mc seems and acts like he is tough but he is not. He ‘enjoys’ and ‘likes’ the things ml has done to him in SECRET. He himself never admits it. He acts like he hates it. But his inner dialogue keeps wondering why it feels so good. So ml never feels guilty or bad at the least. No redemption arc whatsoever he doesn’t feel regret. They’re not on the equal footing. Since mc feels good in secret I guess he never questions and confronts with Ml’s ruthlessness. He is needy and unable to take care of himself even though he acts all tough. Going through all of that shit, he doesn’t even have proper response, or bitter feeling. I don’t mind ukes being weak and slutty. Hell, I don’t care if it’s full of rape. But he never admits it. He doesn’t even have resolve. No pride. No self worth. Don’t reread it please!

The MC is the most perfect uke that I’ve ever seen! He makes rational decisions, doesn’t do anything that gives me second hand embarrassment. My two braincells don’t need to fight each other to rationalize his actions! Love him!

I want some angst now. It’s been a while. I really don’t like seeing Seth as a damsel in distress needs to be saved by others.
I mean he also doesn't like that and the narrative is pushing a middle ground where Seth won't feel helpless but will also not return to his former state, where he is feared.
And also, lets keep the fluff, already had a season full of angst, so lets enjoy this while it last
I kinda like it. Especially the part where the author says seme wouldn’t just regret, he would want to gouge his heart out! I love it. Oh sweet sweet angst! Exactly my cup of tea! Hope the team doesn’t burn out and continue the story. Even though they seem to be planning as they’re progressing, I’m seeing a lot of complex dynamics in their characters. It is cliche but it doesn’t feel forced at all.
