ok so putting aside the whole creepy aspect of the second couple i just don't get the logistics here. what do you mean this random man with no qualifications can just "adopt" the merman?? what kinda shady business is that, who's allowing this, they are basically selling him are they not? so does the weird panther have a big fish aquarium to put him in or is he just gonna throw him in his bathtub while salivating over the kid he's now the legal guardian of? (nevermind, i cannot put aside the creepy aspect, it's impossible, their whole story line is built on creep behaviour!)
