from what I remember it was mostly the red headed captain getting mad because pink hair was taking care of the emperor. After that it showed a scene of the blonde hair, then the emperor was talking to his shadow knights about the plan to go back to the empire and to tell elan that he is still sick
Red head soldier that was in love with elan was colluding with the rebels to kill the emperor and get with elan as a couple. The rebels plan only failed because elan stood up to fight for the emperor against the rebels and redhead got scared elan would get hurt and so he called back up. The blonde elan met in the village and the leader of the rebel realized this. The emperor has fully healed and was offered support from the kings soldiers but he rejected the help and lied about his wounds not healing so the heroine would take pity on him and stay until his supposed wounds healed. Heroine realizes in between a monologue that she actually cares about the emperor. The kids and everybody else is safe after the fight BTW.
